Wish I could do more stars! Sister My Sister did the cake and desserts for my wedding this weekend, and I am not kidding when I say every guest I spoke to said it was the most delicious cake they had ever had. The dessert table with the cake was BEAUTIFUL, the cake was so incredible I almost didn't want to slice it... but I'm so glad I did because it was absolutely delicious. Our cake was a three-tier with the lavender honey cake, strawberry champagne, and pumpkin apple, and picking a favorite is way too hard! We also got some satellite dishes of cupcakes and small finger desserts like cookies, apple pie bites and brownies and those all vanished in a matter of hours. The cake was just so beautiful though. We had a fairytale wedding so the cake was supposed to look like a birch tree stump, covered in moss and flowers and ferns with our initials "carved" into the tree, and an edible sword stuck into the top. It looked exactly like the picture I put together for it, Lucy is a very talented artist and really knocked it out of the park! Highly, highly, highly recommend stopping by here just for coffee and a cupcake, but if you're looking for a wedding cake caterer then you won't get better than...

Cute quaint bakery with a couple of chairs, but not a place you stay long. A friend of mine recommended this place and I love a good recommendation and it did not disappoint. My guest and I were greeted by friendly staff who answered our questions and remained patient as we decided and kept adding. In our defense everything sounded good and we were walking that thin line of wanting to try things and just being greedy. Lol

There is quite a lot to choose from and they have two of my favorites: snickerdoodle in cupcake form and red velvet in Brownie form! I am here for both of these desserts. I loved the little bit of snickerdoodle cookie on top of the cupcake serving not only as decoration, but a tasty little delight to round out the cupcake. I will say definitely let the cupcake sit for a few minutes before consuming because they are in a refrigerated case and same for the red velvet Brownie, which was my favorite of the two. But the cupcake was very close. You know what, it's a tie! 😆

Yesterday I went into Sister my Sister bakery. I ordered an oatmeal cookie sandwich. As I took a bite I started to have an allergic reaction. I asked the girl working there if there were walnuts in the oatmeal cookie because there usually aren't and I was having a reaction. I am very good about my allergies and I know the items that usually contain walnuts.The girl in the shop didn't even ask if I was ok. I ended up in the ER. Today I called and spoke to owner. As I explained what happened she told me, "Oh well you probably should have asked questions if you have allergies." I really can't believe that a business owner would respond that way. Neither the employee or the owner asked if I was ok. It was not until I said something about no one even caring that the owner said OH well I mean I'm sorry. I NEVER post negative things, however I am shocked by the way the bakery responded. All of their signs are hand written. It would literally take 1 extra minute to write an allergy warning...
