LOGE Leavenworth Riverside Cabins — Hotel in Leavenworth

The LOGE setup is simple enough: a cool, new place to stay that's comfortable, with all the amenities you'd really want. It's communal flavor is what separates it, as well as it's hipster-ish approach and design. It's pretty rad. The Leavenworth LOGE has two stay options: cabins or the hostel. We stayed at a cabin. It was cozy, not too big or small. It's right above the river with a little deck and a couple of chairs to look over with a beer at night or coffee in the morning. It's perfect. It's stellar as a home base for adventure, and the bed, etc. are pretty darn comfy. Though we only hit it up for one night, I'd say after two nights I'd be hoping for something a little roomier, but generally it's a great spot. We rented mountain bikes and that was legit. The full suspension Giant Trance's are pretty stellar bikes to get to rent. We rode from LOGE to the trails at Freund (sp?), where we shredded for a few hours. Super smooth and the setup process was easy. When we stayed, there was a free concert which was great. We grabbed a beer we brought and hung out to listen with everyone else. It was great. Then we walked the half mile into town to get some grub. However, on the way back, my wife tripped on one of the potholes on the road going down to the cabins and gashes her knee pretty good. There aren't any lights on the way down and the road is chewed up so just be careful. All in all, we'll be hitting the place up again especially for a weekend pow wow. It's perfect for that. The Riverside cabin (#7) was sufficient to meet our needs and we appreciate that the property is dog friendly. We loved having our own space and listening to the river. Other reviews commented on heat, hot water and water pressure, which all worked well for us. The water pressure is low flow, but the nicely tiled shower and hot water made up for it. Bed and linens were comfortable. However, the sliding door screen was completely blown out and insufficient to keep out mosquitoes, gnats, bees and horse/deer flies when it's the season for those pesky critters. If it had been another time of year we would have been VERY disappointed as I am highly allergic to insect bites. Also, the patio door was very dirty from a previous canine visitor rubbing its nose on the door. Additionally, although the cabin was mostly cleaned well, the hard to reach corners of the floor were dirty, and when something was dropped it was covered with dirt and hair. The hooks hidden behind the bathroom door are inconvenient for hanging towels. Please add hooks where they are accessible to someone in the shower. Also, a towel and hook in the sink area would be helpful. And, honestly, the amenity fee is ridiculous. If it's a mandatory fee, include it in the initial advertised rate. We didn't use any additional "amenities" since we were only in need of a place to sleep for the night. With these repairs and improvements we would be happy to...

I booked through Airbnb. I never received the check in info at least an hour before check in. I had to call multiple times to get the info & then rush to my dinner reservations & was not pleased. Already irritated on my vacation. Had to call to get a code to get into the door & staff was rude.

Finally got in & room was disgusting. I have worked in hospitality for 10 years. I have worked as a housekeeping executive and front desk manager and was disturbed with how filthy this room was. Literally the dirtiest place I have ever stayed...hands down. Sheets weren't changed-from the previous guest!!!! There was hair on the walls, floor, shower, IN the fridge. Sink was not cleaned, towels were stained, back door didn't lock, wifi and TV was out my entire 2 day stay. I had to call again and again. No one ever picked up or returned any of my calls. The second night I came back late & another guest took my parking spot, there's no where else to park...called again and no one returned my call.

Later after my review, the management personally insults me on a public forum. The owners should be made aware of the lack of care & professionalism that this manager has. Service levels trickle down from the top. Staff didn't care and management was just plain rude. Such a shame, because it really COULD be cute.

If you want a completely disgusting, filthy room with terribly insulting rude staff. Stay here! The worst...
