Homefires Bakery — Restaurant in Leavenworth

I was hoping for a nice European-style bakery. This place sells plastic-wrapped sliced bread and is located inside of a supermarket... Also, the owner can't take feedback well and suggests I fly to Germany if I want a better experience. Please don't take it personally. True authentic German bakery and the lady behind counter was from Germany so I knew she would be dead on with bread recipe.. I lived in Germany for 12 year and this place is equivalent to any bakery there.. The rye and beer bread is awesome.. I bought two and I bought 4 pretzels which were true authentic Bavarian pretzels.. Not like that fake they had in town at Bavarian Bakery..a chocolate croissant and raspberry cheese custard pastry..
