The Suites on Main — Hotel in Leavenworth

My partner and I decided to see Leavenworth by train this winter, and got thrown curveball after curveball by Amtrak delays. We rented suite #3, but ended up missing our first night after the train showed no progress ofr 6+ hours. For a moment there, salvaging the trip didn't seem possible.

And then I connected with Lisa, who was fast to respond and extremely empathetic to our situation. We ended up checking in a day late, and were shocked at how easy and intuitive the process was. The location was unbeatable, within 500 feet of everything you'd want to do in town and on top of a park with endless walking trails. Our suite had a beautiful balcony overlooking the mountains. The studio was spacious, and laid out so intuitively that you never had to search for anything.

It was the little touches that won our hearts: the heated bathroom floors, the privacy barriers, the fresh coffee, the comfy bed. The space was quiet and serene, with lots to do in the surrounding area. It was somehow both down-to-earth and luxurious.

Even with our shortened itinerary, Lisa and Mike did everything in their capacity to make out stay exceptional, saving us from what could have been a disaster. Eternally grateful for this gem, and for...

Oh my what a good time. New facility, nicely done, excellent fixtures and internet so fast we played Google Stadia on it. Beds were a bit firm for my liking but it was ok I ended up sleeping on the pullout sofabed. Super convenient close to town luxury. Forget the spots who have an indoor pool or eye reddening chlorine hot tub. Forget the spots with the so called "free breakfast" in the morning. This spot has the best internet access you have ever experienced. Awesome secure entry you won't need a card that never seems to work on the last day of your stay. Nope. Sweet entry system. All in all a great time.

Edit-5 stars became 1 star. The snippy owner gave my family a rediculously negative review on Air BnB. Said our children were noisy and the unit was left messy. Noisy for whom? Our friends and their kids were staying beneath us and the unit next door had eaten out with us...who would complain about three kids under 5 making normal kid noises? Not to mention we tipped the cleaners substantially with a gift AND $80 left on the dining table. The photos posted here are the ones I took just before walking out. Moral is : don't...

We stayed in Studio 6 in the Suites on Main in late September. It was better than the pictures on the website. Everything was well organized, clean and efficient. The upstairs studio was very quiet. There was a nice view from our balcony. The bed was very comfy, the living room area was very cosy, the bathroom as nice as much more expensive hotels that we stayed in on our trip. We did not need a hot tub, pool, restaurant, or massage so the price was very reasonable. The decor was modern and a welcome contrast to the "Bavarian motif" of the other hotels in Leavenworth. The Suites on Main is very close to the downtown activities of Main Street in Leavenworth as well as next to the Waterfront Park with access to many trails and views of the river. If you are looking for a wonderful, cozy, comfortable place to stay while enjoying the Bavarian atmosphere of Leavenworth as well as taking advantage of the hiking, skiing & biking in this area of beautiful Washington, I would whole heartedly recommend trying to nab a unit at the Suites on Main. We will definitely stay here when we are back...
