I would first like to start off saying the layout of the standard king room facing the village is well thought out, and it is a cozy room for 2 people. The ONLY reason I’m giving the hotel a 4 star review is because the air conditioning in the room was extremely loud and water was leaking from where the shower head connected to the neck. BUT, when I mentioned this to someone at the desk both issues were resolved by the time we got back to our room. Another reason I gave the hotel a 4 star review is because they did not restock the coffee. I also noticed that window does not have a screen which is a problem during the summer months. Speaking of summer months, the mini fridge took forever for the bottled water we put in there to get cold (about a full day) I also wished they had another lamp by the leather chair opposite the sofa. It did make playing board games a little difficult due to the lack of lighting around the sofa and coffee table area. Another reason for this review was that the bar was not fully operational, thus you were not able to get cocktails (we were here 7/1 thru 7/3) so we were not able to use the buy one get one free ticket that was included inside with the key cards. Another thing is DO NOT expect much from their pool and breakfast. Their pool looks like a pool you would find at some inner city apartment. And for their all you can eat breakfast… just plan on going somewhere in town.
I do have to commend the hotel for providing plenty of places to charge your electronic devices in your room. A lot of times you are finding yourself moving furniture to look for outlets. AND THE LOCATION! You cannot beat the location. Everything was within a short walk. The mountain views and the town is beautiful and If you wake up early enough (like 4am) you can see all the different color lights on the building very vividly.
This was our first time to Leavenworth and staying at this hotel. Overall we were pleased with our room and the services they provide. Yes, the issues I addressed above were an annoyance, but they were so quick to address the major issues like the air conditioning and shower and the other things were just minor issues. Hoping to come back around Christmas...
Read moreJust stayed at this place 9/6/24. We stayed in a king room with balcony, spent over $375+ for this "experience" Location is great, across the street from all the action and next to Pizza Co. For those late night food fix. Rooms are cool (They have a great wolf lodge vibe to them) but they do come with many flaws if you have toddlers with you, the first issue is the sharp corners of the nightstands on either side of the bed, easy for one to bump a head into this if the kids are playing on the bed or as an adult if you toss and turn at night,.. which you will at this place because the beds have 2 issues, they are extra firm, like sleeping on a box spring mattress but then also broken in so much that you sleep in a ditch created from all the other people that have stayed here, (the beds need to be replaced), 2nd huge issue with this place is the single ply toilet paper... come on, you say your a top place to stay but you guys are giving guests transparent toilet paper? This is an issue, go buy costco packs of toilet paper if you are trying to be cheap but make your guest happy, no one likes fingers going through the toilet paper. The last reason why this place is not all that Greta is the fire place. It's a gas fireplace behind glass which heats up obviously, but your under the assumption that it's a decorative fireplace because no where around the fire place does it say "Caution Hot" so if you want to sue these guys I'd suggest using that because our kid burned her hand on the glass since we assumed it was a decorative fireplace. So all families with young ones be warned of this, one last note before i close this out, The pool is not toddler friendly, it's minimal water hight was 3.5 feet and a narrow set of stairs to get into the pool. So take inflatable life vests and toys. Also the pool wasn't heated as shown, it was 62 degrees on a 91 degree day... Thank you for ready...
Read moreReally had a great experience here, upon checking in the staff was very friendly! As our first stay here she gave us a run down of everything. I loved that they have their own private reserved parking and I was even able to park inside the garage! With our keys we were given a bogo drink ticket to their bar. I liked how their outdoor igloos were reserved for guests only as well. The location of this lodge is just perfect for exploring downtown as its just right across the street from the park. As we got to our room I noticed how cleanly the hotel was and our room was no different. Everything perfectly clean, no weird smells or anything. That evening we were able the last pool/hot tub session and it was really a treat! The pool was more like a warm bath than a cold pool which was perfect considering it was snowing. We stayed all the way up until closing and they even let us stay an extra 20min or so past closing. As I was walking back inside the hotel I slipped and fell which busted my knee and foot open. The staff was very concerned and even called our room after the incident and offered bandages which was very helpful. The next morning I made my way down to the breakfast hall and was greeted by staff and they made little to-go breakfast plates for everyone in our room. I really liked this as most hotels have just discontinued breakfast all together. These little details is what really made the stay that much better. Not to mention the breakfast was actually really good! After finishing eating I was concerned about having to go find parking in town after we checked out considering all the normal street parking was closed due to covid. The hotel assured me we could stay parked in the garage all day which was really awesome. I will 100% be coming back to stay with them again and recommend it to...
