Wine Girl Wines, Leavenworth — Attraction in Leavenworth

This tasting room is a lot like my wife: it's small, but it's got a lot of spunk! WineGirl is usually one of our first stops in Leavenworth, and definitely our favorite of the wineries in town!

One block south of Front Street, it's easy to miss, but we never skip an opportunity to stop in for a glass, to help us settle in for the weekend. This time around, they had a wonderful hot cider, of which my wife and our friend both partook, while I sipped on a rosé. I'm a big fan of the designs of their sassy lassy glasses, cards, posters, magnets and other souvenirs.

The employees are friendly and knowledgeable, and they make every experience fun! The tasting room is also pet friendly: we've seen cute puppers, as well as brought our own kitten once (in a travel bag), and they are always fawned over by staff and customers alike. Extremely rude staff, will never come back, absolute garbage experience.

update I saw your reply to my original review. You deserve 1 star because you have pretentious staff who are extremely rude. You can act like its harassment if you want but we went twice and had the same experience both times. We also walked around other shops in Leavenworth and nobody had a good word to stay about your staff. Maybe you should confront your team instead of believing everyone else is the problem, and fyi two visits warrants two reviews. Went in because I love wine and the name of the shop but the girl at the counter was very rude. I asked her how the red blend was, she says I don’t know then says want to sample so I walk over to counter and she shows me a menu and I ask the price of the bottles and she tells me so I say I’d like to try a sample of the red blend, she proceeds to tell me it’s illegal to not charge, I say ok and tell her I may be back after dinner and she said nothing and when I said thank you I still received nothing.
