Christmas in Leavenworth is a great experience and comes highly recommended. This was our first visit and here's what we learned...plan your activities and make reservations at the same time as you do your hotel reservations so you don't miss out. You can reserve your sleigh rides, or even the breakfast or dinner sleigh ride to be sure you get one. For the lighting of the Christmas lights, we didn't have dinner reservations following the lighting so we waited almost two hours. Turns out that Mozart's was entirely WORTH the wait, but we did wish we'd had reservations to avoid a hungry wait. Right after the lighting, people were all in a hurry to get to their next destination, most were polite but we found at least a couple of pretty pushy people and only one total jerk. All in all, an experience to remember...but make reservations for as many of your destinations as possible.

A super fun and unique experience in Washingtons very own German town. This is a quaint and not very large town just over stevens pass or just past Wenatchee depending on which direction you go. Lots of shopping options as well as German food options here- along with a few other things to do like the river, the adventure park, etc. Definitely a place to go at least three times- Summer for the beautiful weather, Winter for winter festival and autumn for fall fest/Oktoberfest.

Fun little town with lots of great shops and food options. Spent 24 hours exploring and loved the wintery Christmas vibe. Part of the downtown is closed to cars so great for strolling and exploring the wide variety of shops. There’s something for everyone. Even without snow, it was still pretty with all the lights. Parking is free at the river park if you want to save $2.50 an hour. 10 min walk to the main strip. Trail had a nice view of the mountains.

Leavenworth Square is so way cool this place is amazing when the Christmas lights are up and running and there's snow out on the ground it's awesome here , this place is easy to find and there's plenty of parking spaces close by here . The square is a sweet place to visit with your family and friends . What a beautiful place to be . There's lots of places to get food close by and there's places to stay at very close to here also . We loved seeing the Christmas lights especially our 5 year old daughter. Playing in the snow is the best part of the town. It's just a tourist town with over priced stores. I was surprised to see the restaurants didn't have fires or heaters for outside eating or we would of eat a few times there. I am not sure of the store name or how long it's been there but there is a store with guys trying to sell moisturizer/wrinkle repair. It's just way overpriced cover up!! They try to make it seem like it's taking your wrinkles away in a couple minutes,...
