Schocolat — Local services in Leavenworth

HANDS DOWN...BEST SPOT IN LEAVENWORTH FOR ALL YOUR CHOCOLATE NEEDS!

We (6 of us) went to many stores in DT Leavenworth with chocolate at our weekend stay, the 2nd weekend of March 2024. The other stores, which will remain unnamed, had poor to mediocre customer service...AND the packaging of said chocolate truffles were sh*t poor (aka throwing them all into a paper bag).

At Schocolat, it was a whole other world. Pristine customer service provided by the kind chocolatier there. Gave us recommendations from what we like. Described each truffle in a way you KNEW he wasnt just a sales person...an absolute chocolatier. Placed each chocolate truffle nicely in a small box beautifully packaged. Loved how we had to undo a ribbon to get to the truffles. Made the whole experience just a tad nicer :)

We ALL commented on the drastic customer service difference. Im not even a chocolate girl (im a gummy girl with chocolatier friends)...but these were so smooth, delicious, not too sweet, and literally melted in your mouth. I know my chocolatier friends would have loved this place. Too bad none of the truffles we purchased made it back...

I cannot say enough about how amazing Haylee was during our visit! She was extremely professional, kind, and attentive. I brought my special needs brother with me, and Haylee went above and beyond to help him make what was a very difficult decision—choosing his chocolates! Her patience and warmth made all the difference.

We were thrilled to learn that Haylee actually makes the chocolates herself! Not only was she incredibly knowledgeable, but she was also so genuine in the way she interacted with us. Having managed Marriott hotels for over a decade, I truly understand the importance of having employees who are not just skilled, but who bring authentic care to their customer service. Haylee is exactly that kind of person.

These chocolates are so fine. I am cheap, but I will indulge in these $$ chocolates. I love chocolate and cannot recall having something in my mouth that felt like a hand crafted piece of art, perfect amount of chocolate shell to filling, where the proportion could not be more perfect to make each a star. I enjoy the fleur de lis truffles very much, and was even more impressed when my little toddlers were treated like princesses with generous offerings of "chocolate buttons." I seldom review online, so you know this place is worth the stop. It is a little hidden in the back of another store, but well worth it to taste the cinnamon pear caramel sauce, good on warmed brie, ice cream, apples, or....? Definitely would suggest for that special romantic touch, or apparently even out and about...
