A's by the Slope — Hotel in Marlinton

We visited for 5 days/4 nights at the beginning of the ski season. On arrival, the room was not very clean (dirty walls/rugs). We later noticed that several of the cups and dishes had been put away dirty. But is is truly a great location if you can afford to get nickel and dimed for everything. They charged us an extra $324 when my wife and I caught covid and needed to delay our trip by a week. Then they charged us for washing the comforter because of a coffee stain, after they told us that they would "absorb the cost". I'm disgusted to know that washing the comforter after a guests stay is not a standard practice for these owners. All that said, the ski in/ski out aspect was nice, but we will be booking elsewhere on our next trip...

This was our second time staying at a's by the slopes. The condo was clean upon arrival and is in a great location for ski in ski out. It is also convenient to everything in the village. We plan on booking again...
