The hotel is disgusting me my girl and sister had to wait 15 mins before anybody came to the front desk for check on when we arrived. We get our cards to the room as soon as you open the door to the hall the place stinks. We get to our room and it Is nasty both rooms sheet and pillow cases had stains on them the room or hotel looks nothing like the pictures they are advertising. The chairs in the room had stains on them we the bathroom was to small and nasty. We go to the front desk to complain and David apologized and said he will bring up new sheets and towels. This man brung towels that lool like it had old blood stains on them smfh. We asked for a refund and he says I'll put you in another room that man took us to 3 different nasty ass room the first one you could smell the mold from the wet carpet the 2nd one had dirty towels handing from the picture in the room and the 3rd well that was an suite ctfu it was our last option smh it wasn't the best but it was a lot cleaner then the room and to find out it was clean cus Air bnb uses the suites lol. They refunded my girl her money for the room and she pays for the suite. The money came back on her card 2 days later and a hour after they put the $640 back they took $721.05 off her card and proceeded to act as if they didn't until she calls her card company and had the rep on speaker phone stating thst The Harrison Hotel charged the card at 7:45am thats when the guy at the front desk sees the transaction on his end and clamis to not know what happened and he is fixing it right away that was on 4/14 it is now 4/29 and they still have not put the money back in her account. When she calls the hotel they see the number on the caller ID and just let the phone ring when she calls back block they answer the phone. They straight tried to steal from her and don't want to refund the money. If she didn't have her card set up to her phone for when anytime her card is used she would of never known they stole the money until she gor her bill next month. No maid service was done throughout the whole stay the place was nasty and they are Crooks they STOLE MONEY OFF HER CARD AND HAVE NOT PUT IT BACK. We are now getting a lawyer involved. DONT STAY AT THIS NASTY HOTEL THEY...

I am at a loss of words, I have never stayed at a hotel that’s made me feel so gross and scammed. I have low standards for hotels, I’ll gladly stay at a run down motel and not think twice, but this place makes those look good.

To start. The rooms we were assigned were in the basement of the hotel. The literal basement. The small basement windows were on the sidewalk, and our room’s window was stuck completely open with no screen.

The rooms are devoid of color, there are no blankets given, the beds are dirty, the TV was broken, the room smells like bleach, and they give you 2 towels. The bathroom was just missing the shower door. And there was a hole in the bathroom door. Given it was me and 2 girls, you could see the issue with that.

I asked multiple staff members for help with the window and they all brushed me off and walked away. Only after I asked the manager at the front desk, who was okay, did I got help. I was offered a room change, and was given a room even deeper into the basement with a window into an alley way blocked by a dumpster, and covered in plastic.

The room was absolutely filled with cockroaches. On the toilet, in the shower, in the bedroom and on the beds. I killed probably a dozen in the first night and saw tons of baby cockroaches running around. There is a reason this hotel offers no refunds. We ended up leaving the hotel on the first night, taking a loss.

It doesn’t help that hotel also managed to charge me twice by accident. They refunded the money a week later after I submitted a dispute with my credit card. I’m just lucky I had enough money to spare to be able to pay for this hotel room twice. Which, $270 for 2 nights in a roach infested jail cell is insane. For $30 more I got a 2 floor beach front hotel room, in a tower, with 2 bedrooms, up in bal harbor.

To say this is a one star review is an understatement, this hotel should be shut down and gutted. It is a disgrace that the city of Miami’s Health Department allows this place to maintain its licenses. You know it’s bad when you walk into an expensive hotel and all the people sitting around look like white and black trash.

You’ve found the most expensive trashy hotel...

· The start to my cruise vacation was not PLESANT TO SAY THE LEAST To start the entrance to the hotel was not the best looking. The reception desk and surroundings looked like someone's old furniture that they were throwing out and the hotel picked up. It was old, cluttered, and dusty and just unprofessional. The sitting area at the front of the hotel reminded one of a motel instead of a hotel in the highly talked about Miami area. The check in was smooth to say the least. There is no elevator so I had to climb 2 flights of stairs with 2 large suitcases and 2 tote bags. The carpet entrance on the 2nd floor nd all the way down the 2nd floor hallway was terrible. It was so dirty and stained that I cant see why the hotel has not pulled it up. Upon entering the double queen the paint was mismatch and chipping, it smelled like cigarettes and moldy, the bathroom was dated and rusting, the sink fixtures where wobbly and rusted, the bathtub was not fit to bathe or shower in because it looked dirty and strains of hair where found inside and around it, The toilet ran consistently. The bedding boarders where dirty and stained so I refused to sleep in the sheets and covers provided. I went and bought sheets and a blanket to sleep on for my one night stay. The AC unit was hard to figure out. The WIFI and tv channels barely came in clear. I refused to walk around barefoot because the floor wasn't clean. There is no iron or ironing board and no coffee pot. The gentleman at check in did mention breakfast but I dare not with the hotel conditions as they were out of fear. This whole hotel needs to be remodeled. This is very unacceptable and deceiving to me as a customer and any who decides to stay here. I paid $200+ for a one night stay in these conditions when I should have fought it and went elsewhere. I was and still am very disappointed with this hotel and if I could have cancelled as soon as I seen the conditions I would have.||SAD, TERRIBLE HOTEL...

Cockroaches!!! We discovered this exterminators hell on a travel app. Seemed cheap and in a good location at first with a charming golden gate entrance and only a few blocks to the beach. 🏖 Check-in time is at 4PM, and not a minute earlier, although it could be a few minutes later, as was my experience. As I tapped on a bell 🛎 with a sign that said 'ring for service', a sleepy elderly gentleman on the couch in the room had awakened to let me know in a fiery tone that I would not be checked in any earlier than 4PM. 🙄 So I waited 3 minutes until 4 pm. ⏳️ After the 4PM process, I gathered my belongings and headed for the room only to be told that they had changed my room. The hallways and my new room had a very wet, musky, moldy kind of smell. The mattresses looked like old and lumpy, bargain basement sets with only a used, thin sheet provided as covering. Disappointed, we left our bags, went out to dinner, and had a long walk. When we came back later in the evening, my wife screamed in horror after cockroaches were seen scurrying about the room. In panic, we brushed and cleaned off our luggage and left the premises in search of a cleaner hotel. I left my phone number with the evening security officer asking him to have the manager give me a call but to no avail. I checked the app, and besides a $40 property fee, the whole entire booking charge is non-refundable regardless of whether you stay or not. I absolutely will not recommend or ever stay in this filth basket again. This has got to be the worst hotel in Miami!

It’s all perspective you get what you pay! I knew for the price I was for sure to find some things I wouldn’t be too happy about. But with that said I knew what I was getting, the staff was great! Location is alright lots of things around hotel and walkable.

This was hands down the most disgusting hotel I have ever stepped foot in. We booked the Family Studio Suite through Expedia (suitable for 6 people). There was black mold everywhere, and you could clearly see they had just painted over severe water damage. The ceiling was literally sinking in from it. The room smelled damp and moldy the entire time, and there were even spores growing in the lock box. To make things worse, there were bugs flying around in the room and crawling on the beds. This room was in unacceptable conditions for any guest. After seeing the state of the room, we went straight to the front desk for assistance. The staff there could barely speak any English, which made it nearly impossible to communicate the seriousness of the issues. We eventually were able to come to an understanding and asked for a refund which they verbally agreed to give it to us. We even received a conformation of the cancellation and a cost breakdown folio. However, no refund was ever processed, and once we left, they completely stopped responding to any of our attempts to follow up. The phone number listed for the hotel does not work, it only goes straight to a voicemail that no one ever answered. We even reached out to Expedia, but they did nothing to help either. Save yourself the nightmare and DO NOT book this hotel.
