Renzzi On The Beach — Hotel in Miami Beach

Booking.com, We are absolutely appalled by the condition of the property we were checked into. This experience has been nothing short of outrageous, and we’re genuinely questioning how this listing was approved on your platform.

To start with, there is no AC remote, so the AC doesn’t function. The room has been heating up like an oven, making it unbearable to stay inside for more than a few minutes. We were sweating through the night—this is beyond uncomfortable.

The room reeks of cigarette smoke, and the entire lobby smells It's nauseating. We have guests with asthma, and this environment has made it physically difficult for them to breathe. We are prepared to escalate this with a formal complaint, because this is a serious health hazard.

The beds are so dusty, 2 of the guests have been sneezing through the night because of the filthy dust around in the rooms.

The noise from the neighboring room was unbearable-shouting, banging, and chaos throughout the night. This isn’t a hotel, it’s a nightmare.

The utensils in the room were covered in grime-completely unusable. The level of filth was genuinely stomach-turning.

The washroom has no hot water-so we were left with freezing cold showers. Again, completely unacceptable.

The bed linens, pillowcases, and sheets were dirty, stained, and smelled musty. It looked like they hadn’t been washed in weeks—if not months.

Even blankets weren’t provided. We had to go down ourselves and dig through a filthy, unkept storage area to find something to sleep with. Absolutely disgusting.

There was no one at reception, the entire time. Not for check-in, not for complaints, not for assistance. The place was running itself—and very poorly at that.

The main door to the property is a massive safety concern. The lock system is pathetic and anyone could just walk in. The women staying with us felt unsafe the entire time, and rightfully so.

And finally, just to complete this disaster: the TV doesn’t work either. Not surprising, considering everything else.

Read!!!!!!!! ‼️ Do not stay at their properties!!!!! First off I would like to say this experience was absolutely horrible. We were here for our daughter‘s birthday and it was not good. We checked in on Friday and was waiting for the room to get cool and it never did the AC never worked the property that we were at was the Renzzi on the beach. When getting in bed, there were several bugs. I also took a picture and sent to the manager and was told I’m not sure why bugs are in there. We were told that we were going to be moved to Agave on the beach. While we were at Renzi on the beach. The manager told us to go downstairs and get a fan out the office closet. We went down there and there was no fan so we had to spend Friday night with no AC and I have very bad asthma the manager assured me that someone will come in the morning to fix the AC but they never did I had to call booking.com just for them to move me to a different room. We got to a different room at agave on the beach and when we got here, the AC was cold and working, but suddenly was turned off after we left so they sent someone out here again to turn it back on. The guy says there’s something going on with their system when there are so many things running are so many units running it will kick it off then today when it’s time to check out on Sunday, it goes off again. I call the manager at the front desk and she cannot tell me why this is happening. The only thing she said is that we can stay until one why would I want to stay in a hot room until one? Came here for a work trip and booked this apt for a few days. As soon as I walked in the building, (front door had no handles) open for anyone to walk in. The lobby already had a bad odor. No elevators so walked up stairs and the entire hallway smelled strong marijuana!! I have my baby with me so we literally had to plug our noses and run into the unit. The pictures appeared very nice and clean but once entering the unit it is small and just felt unclean. They had the AC blasting before arrival so it was freezing and only had a sheet to sleep that nice. It was very late so I went to sleep and woke up feeling very congested! The pillows and sheets also very damped. I notice there was mold on the walls next to the bed and also throughout the entire shower. Had to wear slippers in the shower bc I was not going to be barefoot in that shower. I had work during the day so only there at night to sleep & while inhaling the mold throughout the entire night, my baby and I became very sick. sneezing, runny nose, coughing, itchy dry throat etc. All the symptoms of inhaling mold. Huge health hazard. This is not safe habitable living space. I reached out regarding this issue and they were unable to move me to a new place. I just left before my checkout date and booked a new clean place. I’m still waiting to resolve this issue with them at this moment.
