One star is generous, I don’t think I could have had a worse experience. Do not stay here if it’s the LAST place available. We checked in like normal and head straight to the room, and before we even drop our bags on the floor, we spotted a bed bug smack dab in the middle of the bed. Obviously, instantly decided not to stay there, considering the impression of the place was dirty, with a stench to begin with. So not even 5 minutes after we check in we’re back at the desk to ask for a refund. We were told that since we reserved our room through Hotels.com, that there was nothing they could do on their end and were directed to call Hotels.com instead. We leave, and call the reservation company as directed, and were told by them that we only reserved the hotel through their platform, but PAID the hotel directly at the front desk. Therefore it was not Hotels.com’s responsibility to refund my money. This basically let us know that the lady at the front desk did not want to refund us or deal with upset customers anyways. Unfortunately it doesn’t end here… We call this specific hotel back, and asked them to refund us since they have my card on file. We were then told that their “team” checked the room and did not see any bugs, assuming we must be lying about seeing bugs. Simply put, we didn’t even stay for 5 minutes in our room that we paid for, we were told by front desk to call elsewhere about a refund, where we were redirected back to the hotel that had my card on file, then was accused of lying about our complaint. I’m working on a complaint through the corporate office so I can get my refund, that the hotel still is refusing to give me. Was told by corporate I should recieve and email about my complaint and where to send the photo evidence of the bugs, but I have yet to see an email. Someone from this corporation please contact me!!

I’d hoped that a Wyndham-owned hotel would have a bit more dignity, but not in this case. We received an email from our booking company, telling us that our room would be ready before the original check-in time. Luckily, we called and they told us that it wouldn’t be ready, which was fine. We went to grab a bite and got to the hotel at check-in time, and found a room with a broken shower that hadn’t been cleaned, there were even towels still on the floor. We requested another room and got in. No hair dryer, but okay at a first glance. Let’s skip to the evening. When I went to take a shower, I found a few hairs on the walls and floors, and there was no bathroom fan for the steam. The room was also extremely noisy.. The mini-fridge was loud (and didn’t close correctly), and everything that happened in the hall could be heard. Our room was also apparently next to the hotel gym, which we discovered at 6 am the next morning, when we heard the weights slamming down. The next day we go to take the car to drive downtown. My car was making a crazy-loud noise, to the point of me being scared to even leave it on. I checked underneath and found out that someone had come overnight and stolen my converter. Luckily, or so I thought, I was parked directly in front of the security cameras, so I went inside to ask if they would be able to provide the cops with the footage. They told me that the security cameras had been down for “a good while,” and I’d have to just file a police report. So we did, and then took a Lyft into the city, coming back to a dirty room, roaches included. We didn’t use the pool, but it’s totally dried out. All of this being said, I’d avoid staying at this place at all costs, as it’s badly managed, unsafe, unclean, and an overall disappointment.

I took the following video after room service made up my room. Before getting into the bed I pulled back the sheets to check for some black spots that I saw previously but was too exhausted to take note of. Obviously I was a buffet for bed bugs. The hotel staff immediately gave me another room, which I spent half an hour inspecting to ensure it was clean. When I had time later I spoke to the general manager, who after looking up my reservation had no idea about the bed bugs, and even admitted to me that the room wasn't out of service. She assured me everything would be taken care of. When I went to check out, there was nothing in my file about bed bugs! I ask to speak to the GM, who proceeded to tell me that an exterminator inspected the room and found palmeto bugs only, not bed bugs. Palmeto bugs wouldn't be between the sheet and the fitted sheet. I'm think she was lying to me to not take responsibility for having bed bugs in the hotel. Excuse any foul language in my video, but I was not happy to find this in my room after a long day. I had been in the room two nights already. The hotel rooms are well designed but poorly executed, with lots of poor handiwork and half-fixed features. Only one elevator worked the four days I was there, but not sign was posted to a state that. I think the entry level staff all handled themselves as well as they are trained, and I'm really sad that a bad experience and a bad manager ruined my stay. The manager only works M-F during hours other people are working and can't speak to her. There is no manager on duty when the manager is not in the hotel, and the hotel do not offer a way to leave any messages for the manager when they aren't around. This is a low class and low quality hospitality experience.

Not a pleasant experience. 1ST NIGHT (4/15): No toilet paper upon arrival, no TV remote upon arrival, and found moth larvae crawling in and out of cracks in the bathroom. 2ND NIGHT (4/16): All was well until a hotel attendant came knocking on our door at 10pm, telling us that we were supposed to have been checked out this morning at 11am because they have our room reserved for other guests... Mind you, we booked our stay for TWO NIGHTS (15th-17th) — so our thought in that moment was: “okay, why would they not have come knocking in the morning, afternoon or evening, rather than 10 o’clock at night when we were in bed trying to fall asleep, if this thought was assumed?” …the attendant proceeds to tell us that our booking was inaccurate in their system and it showed that we were only booked for one night in this particular room. I quickly pulled out my reservation confirmation and showed her hard evidence that we, indeed, were booked through the following morning. After she saw the confirmation, she quickly retreated and told us that she would look into it further at the front desk and give us a call to our room… about 5 minutes later we receive the call, and the same lady proceeds to pry under the same pretense that we were supposed to have been out of there. She asked if I might have made the reservation under another name, if we happened to be moved from another room during our stay, she asked me for my confirmation # on my booking, and who we checked in with. She then apologized for disturbing our night and that she might give us another call if she needed further information. At this point, we were pretty angry about this whole mess and decided that we were going to unhook the phone and hard-lock our door in case of another disturbance, because we needed our sleep and this was uncalled for and totally unprofessional… in short, I don’t understand how this behavior toward guests is acceptable from a chain hotel as vast as this one. If the hotel made the mistake of booking a guest on top of another, please DO NOT try to pin the blame on your guests. And lastly, how can a hotel system be so inaccurate as to not have records of individuals/bookings when we clearly went through all the steps during booking and check-in… Believe me when I tell you that we are not high-maintenance people, and I had no intention of writing a review if it were not for the disturbance and blatant accusations from our second night. I thought the treatment/behavior of the hotel was definitely worth forewarning potential guests about… Thank you...

I'm very disgusted with this hotel I came here today trying to get some relaxation after a long business trip. I was traveling here from Philadelphia to visit friends and family and it was close by because of the Tanger outlets and I enjoy shopping. I had checked in Friday November 23rd 2024 I was greeted buy a very nice front desk person named Angelique. I enjoyed her professionalism she was very great the combination definitely give her a raise. I had such a good night sleep however the following day November 23rd 2024 as I was trying to confirm my reservation and pay for my room the front desk staff was not available and I had to wait over an hour. There's also several other guests that were waiting because the front desk manager was in the bathroom which the message was relayed by a housekeeper who is a black Caribbean woman with an accent she had blonde bleach short hair. I didn't get her name but the front desk manager was named Keenan. He was the person that had me waiting at the front desk for an hour to check in and then when he arrived he never apologized for his lateness. Furthermore, after I was checked in it was early afternoon between the time of 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. where I understand that housekeeping are cleaning the rooms however there was a lot of banging and loud talking by the housekeepers and the Caribbean Jamaican lady with the blonde hair was banging about making a lot of noise interrupting and disturbing the peace. She did a lot of loud talking screaming down the hallway to the other housekeepers as if this was a ball field or stadium or something it was definitely unbearable. It made me very nervous I called down to the front desk and spoke to the manager Keenan who said he would come up to the fourth floor where the incident was and see about what was happening he said that he would resolve the noise but it continued. The same lady was making a lot of noise and had a tantrum because she was recommended and cursing. I have never experienced such a displeasing trip and I'm calling corporate I do not appreciate wasting my money where it is not appreciated. I had to end my stay early and leave early do to the disrespect on the phone I received when I called to report I was leaving early and that same lady that was misbehaving answer the phone and then told me that they were having another customer and hung up on me when all I wanted to do with speak to the manager she never said that he was unavailable or not she just hung up on me because she knew that I made a...

First time visitor. Easy checkin. Needed to arrange extra night for me and arrangements were handled smoothly. The building, halls, and room all have a freshly laundered scent. Everything is clean, staff is friendly. Free Hot bfast in the AM. Free wifi. Large tv. Usb chargers built into the lamps to charge various electronics. Room was satisfactory. Clean, fresh, well supplied. King size bed. Very comfy and pristine white. I always check beds and this one looks showroom new. Fridge/ microwave and coffee maker all spotless . Temperature was perfect in the room . Small pool out back which we didnt utilize.

No frills, not fancy (which i knew but some folks expect too much), it is hidden almost behind another hotel and waffle house and is right by a main interstate so don't expect to drive up to a picturesque vision of accommodations with lush surroundings. That said, if you arent sleeping outside the place what would it matter amyway, ya know? 😊 the actual grounds are well kept.

This place is great for what we need it for. Clean, well supplied, comfy bed, functional appliances, friendly staff, quiet! and Pricing reasonable for my extra night here.

Hubby forgot his toothbrush and they were able to give him a new one at the front desk.

The only reason i give 4 stars is bc while what i did try at bfast was good (and the spread was pretty well stocked and smelled great) i did unfortunately find a single hair in my small scoop of eggs. I swiftly brought it to the desk and informed a gentleman there (manager?) who took immediate action.

That aside, i honestly would be willing to stay here again and give it a second go. Theres plenty "closed package" items to eat and enjoy that they offer. Aside from that one incident, everything else is clean and well kept. I mean extremely clean, smells great, and i can easily look around and see how much effort they put into making sure the guest is taken care of, so im considering it a one time fluke with the eggs. You can tell they have high standards but obviously things can happen .

Overall, enjoyed my stay. Will come back again even if its strictly for the room...
