Awesome Experience! I visited here from out of town. I have been at Axe throwing businesses before but these folks are really a cut above. Despite only having been open for 3 weeks these folks have been on point!
They are co-located with Rusty Bull Brewing which has beer of course and some munchies. The two businesses work well together and when things are slow the Brewery will bring beer to your lane!
Chucktown has a very cool vibe and decor that you see in most of the higher end axe throwing venues. It has a seating area for folks that are waiting, they have a competition regular lane set as well as single lanes that speeds up the axe throwing because you don't have to wait for the person next to you to finish throwing to go get your axe.
They also have some lanes that use projectors to "project the target on the wall which allows you to do custom targets etc for unique party events etc. You don't need an axe - they have them. You need to wear close toed shoes, but If you forget, don't worry, they have Crocks there that you can borrow! They even have a big chair as a photo prop that helps round out your experience and memories!
I met the owner and one of the mangers. Just super easy going folks and a pleasure to talk to. Highly recommended!!!! Very cheap date night not to mention a whole lot...
Read moreWe were trying to find something that my son would enjoy for his birthday. Seems he has outgrown everything all at once. My wife found Chuck Town, so we kept it a secret until we pulled into the parking lot. He tried to hide a little smile as he started to read the signs on the building. The first thing he wanted to try was the axe throwing. We had a blast throwing the axes as we tried to learn. The next thing he wanted to do is try The Floor Is Lava. It was an amazing game to play. I would say that the more people you bring the more fun you will have. Then we took a break for food, and what an amazing break it was. The food was outstanding. Our last stop of the outing was Putt-Putt this is a round putt-putt like no other. I can say you will be challenged in one way or another. My son had a birthday where he felt like an adult, not like child’s birthday at all. We were treated like family. That means we were taken care of from the time we walked in the door. We felt safe even with people throwing axes, and crashing and breaking plates, and bowls from time to time. You will have go to understand the plates bowls. We went to say goodbye to the staff, the last thing that staff did was wise my son Happy Birthday. To say we had a great day is an...
Read moreSuch an amazing experience. The hospitality is exceptional. I mean every single staff greeted me with a smile and conversed genuinely and enthusiastically. They were all such a great help and a pleasure to be around. The atmosphere and morale is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. The bartenders were very knowledgeable and took pride in educating me. We discussed karaoke night and how kids are welcomed. The check-in staff for the axe throwing were all eager and excited to check me in—very attentive, helpful, and may I add very handsome men. The guy asked if it was my first time (it was) and he explained everything so effectively , yet simply. You would think axe throwing was a hobby of mine—I did so well. Maybe it was his instruction or maybe it was beginners luck. Lol. Either way, I had a blast! I highly recommend this place for a date night or family/friends activity night. Even the beer was good! And I don’t even drink beer. I’m strictly tequila—at least I was. I’ll...
