From the very first moment our experience with Bear Camp was a nightmare! Yes things can go wrong but there are ways to rectify problems and show you care about your clients. |From your own website you said:" Here at Bear Camp, we pride ourselves on creating a flawless customer experience above all else. YOU are our number one priority."|Nothing in that statement was true!|You don't send the door code out until 4pm. We arrived at 4:10 and didn't receive the code. Since there was no cell service we had to drive about 8 miles to get service. I asked you to send me the code. You did and after driving back we discovered it was the wrong code. |It is now raining and we can't get in!|I started to knock on doors and luckily ran into someone who knew the master code to let us in. Being cold and wet we decided to go in the hot tub. It wasn't working. Sat down to watch TV. It wasn't working. Tried the internet. It wasn't working. After a while I found the modem under a night table and managed to get it to work. Went to bed and the next morning I was going to make coffee, no starter pack that was promised. Went to take a shower, no water. ( not your fault) You did move us to another nice cabin. Everything was fine.|I did stop in your office to discuss our experience so you were aware of the problems we encountered. I didn't yell, I wasn't angry but I did ask if we could have a latter checkout. 10 am is very early especially when you can't check in until 4pm keeping in mind we didn't get in our cabin until 6pm. You told me you never give a late checkout.|Shame on you! This was no way to treat a customer that experienced so many problems. I wish I had read customer reviews before booking with you. Many others have had the same opinion of your service. I could never recommend your company to anyone and I hope you change your...
Read moreI rented Rocky Top Heaven cabin, Bear Camp rentals, and I would not recommend their services. Cabin was ok BUT the check out instructions sounded like take your garbage with you and bring it to the office (no trash bins outside of the cabin) otherwise we will fine you. We carried the trash back to Atlanta with us :((( TV/WIFI did not work, we called, promised to be fixed but of course, who would come out in the mountains for that?? It was rainy and our two families stayed inside without any entertainment as we are in our 60s. We called, no help. We asked for discount due to the inconvenience, they said "no discount for this" even though is listed as functional. You had to strip your own bed, take the sheets down, clean up, do the dishes and on top PAY THE CLEANING FEE!!! On top of everything, the cabin was sooooo far from Pigeon Forge that a room in the town would of satisfy our requirements. Do not go at night to find the cabin! It was a nightmare to find it thru the windy roads. I wrote to the office, and of course they are right, and we were wrong. Towels only one per person to use for 3 days. U get fined if you leave ur garbage decent in bags in the cabana, u get fined if you don't do your dishes and you will realize as you read the check out book instructions you have to work hard to leave everything clean. Get a hotel room and you get all the services for free without being threatened with a fine. Office takes no responsibility for anything. Wish the owner would know why ppl would...
Read moreRUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.|BUCKY'S CABIN IS A NIGHTMARE |Pictures are DECEPTIVE.|We called in to complain to the company about Bucky's Cabin shortly after we walked in. And every day after. Hot tub was non functional when we arrived and took half the stay to warm to temperature. It was 65 degrees outside and the struggle was real for the antique. Next morning master shower flooded the bathroom, through the floor to the living/dining room. Saw the ceiling bulging from water damage when we were cleaning it up. Maintenance said shower lip was too short and problem was far from fresh. Told us not to use it (now we're down to guest bathroom for family). The last night we saw the black mold in our remaining bathroom. It was in the walls and ceiling. Maintenance Stated that cabin was not maintained by owners. This was also in full display with the deck, balcony and outside of the cabin. Carpenter Bee's have eaten through the walls, support beams and bottoms of railings. I did not feel safe letting my daughter on it.|Two of the three beddings had dirt, leaves and assorted outdoor things on it or rolled in it. Cobwebs and dust layers were everywhere. Old chocolate stuck to the floor. Shoes were a 24/7 must.|Lastly, we woke to the smell of sewage on the last morning. Flushing the downstairs toilet sent the smell through the upstairs first but quickly got us all. It was the way you dream of...
