Pigeon Forge Super Speedway — Attraction in Pigeon Forge

DO NOT TAKE YOUNGER KIDS WHO ARE TALL ENOUGH TO DRIVE THEIR OWN CART HERE! My 12 year old son, who may I say has never driven anything before, spun out coming a curve and hit some cones, not to mention it was drizzling slightly,, which made the track even slicker. When he finished one of the workers, an older gentleman very rudely spoke to him and basically said that my son did it on purpose and that he couldn’t do it again. I was standing there and saw the whole interaction, and my son simply said I know. This man was so rude to my 12 year old son, that he broke down in tears and said never wants to drive a go cart again. And for any parent that has kids knows 12 year old boys do NOT cry often, and what 12 year old boy doesn’t want to drive go carts, so that should let you know how rude this man was! As we had paid for 3 people to race 3 tracks each and this was our first track, I went to this gentleman to tell him my son was not doing anything intentionally and that he was very rude to my son. When I went to speak with him, he told me my son got an attitude with him, despite the fact I saw the whole interaction, and a mother knows those kids mannerisms so it was emphatically untrue, and then this man dismissively waved his hand at me and told me “to get out of here”. I will say despite this man’s rude behavior to my son, the woman at the ticket booth that takes payments was very polite, and gave us our money back for the other tracks we had not used! And perhaps this man didn’t realize my son was only 12, since he is 5’8’’, but even if he did think my son was older, he still was very rude and dismissed me and wouldn’t even give me the chance to say anything! They play Christian music, and have scripture posted on signs (John 3:16, if you care to know) which honestly I was excited by, and then this happened. It is people like this, that give all Christians a bad name! You show the world you are a believer with music and posted scripture, but certainly aren’t living it!

We have been visiting TN a couple of times a years forever, but this year we stopped here to check it out. I’m so glad we did! Our six-year-old granddaughter had the time of her life! We were on our way home from a wonderful stay in TN and this was the cherry on top of our trip! She had the best time driving go karts, riding the rides and playing mini golf. The price of the day pass was well worth it, but aside from that, the ride attendants were engaging and friendly and made her feel so special. We will definitely be...
