I like the hotel , the amenities, the area , the rooms are nice , they have balcony’s which are great and seating , some over look a river , the staff were super nice. I’d recommend .

The bathroom is very tiny but it’s a motel , the sheet had some kind of plastic or tape between fitted and flat sheet which grossed me out but maybe it was just caught in there and they didn’t see it so I hope . I’d imagine they would have seen it but I’m not going to give them a bad rating because other than that it looks pretty decently clean besides the Kleenex box stuck to the sink when I went to move it which I don’t think was due to me maybe getting water on the sink but possibly so I can’t say either way and won’t fault them for that . The people who empty the dumpster woke us up it was very loud but that is definitely not the hotels fault .

Now the things I will fault is the smell of pot constantly . It says no smoking in the rooms but they should enforce it and make them leave or charge them because if this is a family facility then that should not be tolerated . Smoking in the pool areas not everyone can handle smoke and shouldn’t have to breath it in . People have health issues and shouldn’t have to be subjected to that while enjoying the pool areas, the sun , watching their kids , hanging out etc . I also saw people with beer and that is fine as long as they don’t get rowdy and obnoxious you can’t breath that in or smell it unless you’re in their face but I think if it’s for families it shouldn’t be allowed you have a private room to drink your beverage in . The risk of it turning ugly is just that and who knows who or when that will happen .

The beds are very comfortable , no one in my party could sleep , it was so painful and we’re exhausted and can’t even have fun on our time . The frames make an awful sound when you get on them, off them or move . I know the people under us wonder what is going on . You also hear EVERY SOUND ON THE breezeway/ walk way area and you can not sleep in . You hear the house keepers trolley and everything going on outside from both doors which goes back to the dumpster truck.

The pot and cigarette smoking being allowed is why I gave only...

Don't do it. I gave it 2 stars for the location alone. The staff, with 1 exception, seemed annoyed we existed.... and no we didn't cause trouble or call down to the desk (not that I'd even touch the phone in the room). Our expectations were low based on the price, but I should have made them lower. The bathroom smelled moldy. The shower was unclean (hair in the wall, plus a nasty shower curtain... had to shower in flops). The amount of dust on the lampshade was thick and quite visible. We heard every neighbor... not sure what was happening upstairs at 2 am but it didn't sound pleasant. Now let's talk breakfast. Fair warning, the breakfast room is small, not a complaint, just something to prepare for as a guest. There were aboit 10 seats, one of which was taken up by the attendant on her phone. There were towels hanging over the sink. I don't know what she uses them for but they were nasty. The unused biscuits were sitting in a Rubbermaid container at the limited seating area as well as the bag of frozen dole fruit... which incidently is the only fruit available. Now let's talk protein... it doesn't exist. It's just bread, bread in many forms. Here's the entirety of the breakfast for both mornings we ate there: white bread (There's a toaster), plain bagels, hard biscuits, stale mini blueberry muffins, frozen fruit that appeared to be thawed on the counter, waffles with a waffle iron (the one redeeming thing), flavorless gravy in a crockpot (no meat in it), plain oatmeal ( I asked for another flavor which she begrudgingly gave me with a "we usually don't put more out into its all gone"... but who eats plain oatmeal), plain grits and of course the typical coffee, orange and apple juice. We didn't go to the pool because you could smell the chlorine from outside with all the doors closed, which indicates a strong presence of pee since the smell is a chemical reaction with urine... the stronger the smell, the more the pee. If your eyes burn its time to...

We were in town with family and Wanted to stay an extra night so we found this place, which was cheap, and looked alright from the pictures online. We got there to check in and the room wasn’t ready so we decided to walk to the river behind the building and off the bat noticed there was a used needle laying on the ground, so we went and got an older guy that worked there and he tells us oh there is a diabetic around here and picks it up with a leaf and throws it in the garbage can. So we get to the rooms and they don’t look that bad and they are pretty clean. We go walking down the parkway to some arcades and get back to the room around 10 and decided to cook some stuff in the microwave for a late supper because everyone was closed we looked up and the power went out in half of our room and the room next door and they couldn’t figure out how to get it back on so we were told we would be moved for the night which was at almost 11 at night and they would knock 11 bucks off the room which would be the original price of the room we were moving to because it didn’t have a balcony so we weren’t really getting any kind of discount. We get to the new room and it smelt like smoke when u walked in, which I usually can’t tolerate but we were all so tired and had kids that were tired we didn’t care at this point we just wanted to go to sleep. I wouldn’t recommend to stay here, the pictures are deceiving. Most of the doors the paint is coming off, the back of the building where the buildings are is run down looking with rust everywhere and all the garbage cans. Some of the refigerators were cracked and so on. It seems like they were short staffed because sometimes u couldn’t get anyone at the front desk if u needed towels or something. I guess you get what you pay for but I wouldn’t be...

Nice layout, size & thought of accommodation with rooms but not the cleanest. Definitely gave us the ick! Bathroom was very dim & musty smelling, bedspreads were hanging down touching the floor on arrival, towels had faded stains & there was an earwig in the bathroom. Also, shower pressure was terrible & you had to do all sorts of fiddling around with the spout lever & shower handle to get it to come out full pressure with warmth — & even then the pressure was minimum. The jacuzzi tub did not have a plug. The pull out couch was very worn out and squeaked with the slightest move. The door locks need more reinforcement & aren’t toddler friendly as they can very easily open them — usually there’s that lock way up top at hotels, but nope. Looks like they tried to update the place, but did poorly as you can tell it’s just a worn motel. Also, guests are not very considerate of quiet times. Front desk person was friendly though at check in & the location was very convenient. Not worth the price we paid & wouldn’t stay again — very, very disappointed.

Was so excited about the stay here until we walked in the room. We had a room with a jacuzzi. As I entered the room there was a musky smell. There was pubic hair in the jacuzzi and we had to ask for cleaning supplies so we could clean it before we could use it. Also there was a big spider web behind the door. The bed was hard as a rock and my neck and back hurt the next morning. Also the pillows didn’t have any protectors over them just pillowcases and the pillows had an unpleasant odor. Was pretty disappointed considering the price for the room. Also there was mold/mildew on the bottom of the stopper for the jacuzzi.

We booked here with a 48 hour notice, the place was so affordable we were almost iffy despite the good reviews. We got there and it exceeded our expectations! The rooms were roomy, very clean, smelled amazing, staff was always very sweet and accommodating, beds were comfy and clean! The free breakfast was the best part! My girls looked forward to the fresh waffles and fruit every morning! They also have an indoor kiddie pool that’s not really mentioned but we loved. We will be booking here again! Thanks for the great stay.
