Bodee's Bungalow Boutique Hotel — Hotel in Put-in-Bay Township

Bodee's Bungalow Boutique Hotel is one of the best, if not the very best, places to stay on the island (PIB). My wife emphasizes cleanliness to the highest degree, and she praises Bodee's as the cleanest place we've stayed on PIB. The entire area of the main building and the separate bungalows is charming, spotless, well-organized, and very quiet (adults only, no loud parties). Coffee, tea, pastries, yogurt, and other items are provided every morning. Bodee's is very close to PIB's downtown/harbor area—about a quarter mile—and within walking distance of Perry's monument, the library, and a variety of restaurants and shops. Golf carts are available at excellent rates compared to those offered by other providers on the island. Each room (we stayed in the Kokomo Room, which has a private entrance) features hardwood floors, attractive furniture that appears new, a small refrigerator, a nice TV with Roku service, and a modern, clean bathroom with a shower and a sink/mirror outside the bathroom. The service here is outstanding, as Joe is always ready, willing, and able to assist his guests. The room rates are very affordable compared to other establishments on PIB. We stayed at Bodeys over the Christmas in July weekend and it was perfect. The owners were so accommodating and the location was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere downtown and enjoy the nightlife but when we got back to Bodeys it was nice and quiet and perfect for resting up for the next big day. They have golf carts available to rent right there at a very competitive price so we did that for a day to explore the other parts of the island. The owners helped us by giving us suggestions and a great map. They even gave us their cell phone number in case we needed anything. The rooms were very comfortable. Coffe and Danishes were provided which was a plus. There is a tiki patio that we used one night when we got back from the bars and that was really cute. There is a grill and refrigerator at the tiki bar that we did not use but would definitely be an asset if you wanted to just relax one night. We would definitely stay...
