WARNING! Before you buy, please read this from a former faithful customer! I spent $4,000 in the last 24 months at Kay. Used their Kay credit card. A wedding ring for her and me. Gold earrings for her. Went to get the stones cleaned two months ago and was asked if I would buy a teddy bear to support St. Judes Children's Hospital. I said "of course". The bear cost $50 and I gave it to the sales girl. Paid everything off except for my last $50 which I went to pay and Comenity Bank told me that my 12 months no interest on the earrings expired and charged me - get this - $145.00 charge on my $50 balance. Now, remember, that $50 was for the bear, not the jewelry. Spoke to their "customer care" and they told me, they applied the $50 to an earlier payment and wouldn't help me. I cancelled my card and will now send them copies of my purchases at other Jewelry stores. This was bullsh-t and they really didn't care if they lost a faithful customer. The bank sent me a letter, not to say they hated to see me go, but to remind me I now owed them $195.00. (which was paid in full before they sent the letter). Be very careful if you use...
Read moreWriting this in utter disgust of the services that this location gives. Per say if you show up in a T-shirt and jeans expect the treatment of a roach in your bed. Kicked with attitude in the teeth, looked at foul, and other sorts. The manager, Heather, is no better allowing her misguided misfits of a staff to act this way. In particular the staff is selective and pushy beyond all comforts humanly possible when coming to selling you something. In other words we even heard the Store Manager (Heather, shocker.) say something in a remark with more attitude than we've ever experienced. Overall, would never suggest this location if you are even a millionaire in casual clothing. They read the looks and likes of your outfit rather than your actual needs and wants. Please do better for later dates in time as this service is horrid and unwelcoming to anyone. We will never shop here, we'll never visit a Kays again due to the service...
Read moreExtremely rude staff! My girlfriend and I (of 6 years) have made the decision to start looking for an engagement ring. We wanted to educate ourselves and she wanted to see the specific styles she liked. We walked into the store and were quickly greeted by a gentleman. We said we wanted to see their selection and see the styles that she liked. As soon as I said that I was only there to learn (and not to purchase at that time) he completely checked out. He stopped answering our questions and treated us like we were wasting his time. VERY RUDE! I like to learn about what I am about to buy (especially when that item is several thousands of dollars!) Its sad because her favorite ring online was at Kay, but because of this experience, we WILL NOT USE KAY AGAIN!!! Next time, treat every potential buyer with respect (even if they aren't there to purchase the item at that...
