We visited on a Friday for Lunch, golf and the food didn’t disappoint. The guys at the pro shop gave my aunt bogo discount cards for our crew which was amazing. The kids had great time playing putt putt while we enjoyed the food and football/soccer on the big screen. A few things: This was our first time doing self service and we liked it. You have to place your own order at the kiosk and pick up the order at the bar. If you prefer a cocktail waitress, this is not your place. They do not have a liquor license yet so all the cocktails are on tap which are premixed. Try the whiskey and cherry coke. The chairs are obscenely uncomfortable. That’s why I took off a star. However, this might not matter to other patrons. The restaurant was very clean and so were the restrooms. Everyone was nice, but there was a bit of a learning curve. Try the pizza. The sandwiches were sub par and missing protein. The nachos were FABULOUS!!!!!!! They have extra games outside on the patio that I didn’t see. Parking was tough. We even called to find out where their parking spots or designated area was for customers. The employee that answer the phone had no clue and said “we’ve only been open for a week.” Needless to say, we figured out where to park.
We enjoyed spending our afternoon with family and watching the game here. I don’t think I would come back because of the uncomfortable chairs. This place is perfect for families or anyone looking to have a banging time. The music was fun and there are games...
Read moreWe first discovered a similar place while visiting Seattle, called FlatstickPub, and so when my boyfriend and I saw Tipsy Putt in South Lake we decided to stop in. We didnt' have time to play an entire mini golf round, so we decided to play the table golf game using your hands and the golf ball. We checked in at the front desk with Amber (I'm almost positive that was her name - I know it started with an A...). After checking us in and showing us how it worked, she gave us time to grab drinks at the bar and even recommended a couple of sour beer options for me. Best employee ever. She was funny and friendly and definitely the type of person you want representing your business when new clients walk in. Plus, her sour recommendation was well-received. They have a great selection of non-sour drinks as well, and food if youre more interested in sitting and watching a game on one of their many TVs. Which is what we did briefly after our table golf game ended. The variation from the standard mini golf game was a lot of fun. We both had a great time and did well on some of the challenging holes (and less great on others) but they were all unique and gave us something to think about before we took our turns. I actually enjoyed it more than standard mini golfing with a putter. I'll definitely return, and I'd recommend this spot to friends looking for...
Read moreWhen you walk in this place you see all kinds of fun games like miniature golf, beer pong, air hockey and more. That part is really cool. The gal at the front didn't acknowledge us. I am starting to wonder if this is a "Tahoe "thing.Anyway my husband had to say hello before she would speak to us. In my opinion greeting and acknowledging the customers is extremely important in a successful business. That is why I am letting it be known here. We went to the bar area to get something to eat and drink. The dude working at the bar was friendly. We ordered a barvarian pretzel, and a order of Nachos . The pretzels were awful, straight out of a box . The cheese sauce had a thick layer on top . So thick and cold I couldn't eat it. It was disgusting. The Nachos weren't much better. The chips tasted like some basic grocery store out of the bag chips. They were cold. It was bland and just all around not good. For almost 50$ you would think they would put a little more love into the food. Now the beer selection was awesome! This place could be something really cool with a little upgrade on ingredients. This place is cool with all the games and beers they offer. The food and lack of customer service when you walk in made us not want to come back. I hope if you do decide to try it , that your experience is...
