Family Fun at Marine Village Resort! My family and I had a fantastic stay at Marine Village Resort from August 24-26. We were a little hesitant after reading some reviews about cleanliness, but we were pleasantly surprised! Our room was spotless, and we didn't see any signs of mold or a dirty bathroom. The resort's private beach was a huge plus, and it was great to be able to use the kayaks and paddleboards available for rent. Just a heads up, there are no lifeguards, so keep a close eye on your kids. The staff truly made our trip special. From the front desk to every other employee, everyone was incredibly kind and made us feel like valued guests. We loved the special events they had each day. The Sunday barbecue was a delicious and unexpected treat, and the root beer floats on Monday were the perfect way to cool down. The location is amazing. We parked our car and didn't have to touch it again until we left since everything in the village is within walking distance. We had a wonderful time and would definitely choose to stay here again if we're back in the area.

Since I was born I have been coming here. We’ve tried to see if we were missing out on anything and checked out many other waterfront resorts, and none have came close to being as incredible as Marine Village. Staff, awesome. Convenience, unparalleled. Price, well justified. Book WAAAY in advanced if you want the best view of the lake. No resort is better than this. Food events every weekday, taco tuesday, italian night, rootbeer floats, all free with your wrist band given to you at check-in. Want to go kayaking/do other water sports? They have it for a cheap rental. Want to have a fun night around the fire right next to the lake? A couple different fire pits. Beach is well maintained and the pool is heated. Room service is always highly accommodating, and the rooms sufficient for even the largest of families. Book it, now.

Check in was good and staff friendly. This is my 2nd time here. Last time was 10 years ago and a lot has changed for good and not so good. |Room with K and Q was fine, ac worked well and water pressure phenomenal. The rug was filthy. You could not see it but when you walked barefoot or in socks your feet pr socks were black. Washed my feet and walked again just to make sure…yup, it was the carpet. 🤢 i am sure it wasn’t just our room. The family kept their shoes on. I would definitely replace the carpets with something else. I would like to see what i am walking on. Plus it is not healthy for kids playing on the floor. ||There are a lot of beach chairs, which is new since our last visit. I was quite excited to see this until we couldn’t find a spot to sit. Not because they were occupied with people but people claimed them with their floats, towels, sandals, etc. Fine if you are actually in the pool, water or quickly gone to get something on the resort. This was not the case. Not fine to feel like you are entitled and to be selfish. |This was disappointing and it might have been better not to have the chairs and let people bring their own. We left early today and i wanted to take a few pics and i was not surprised of the amount of things still occupying chairs over night. See pictures. My daughter was disappointed she didn’t have a place to sit for an hour on the beach. It was a quick reality check on how selfish people truly are. 😞 if you are reading this, just be a kind human. Our kids learn by our modeling. ||The maintenance workers were doing a great job preparing for the day. Lovely view, lots of things to do, great location. |The blue wrist bands you are supposed to wear so the workers know if you belong on their beach or pool is a farce. Half the people did not have them. They are probably more for the free food they give, which is a nice perk, which we were...

We stayed at this resort twice over a 10 day period. The first stay was excellent. We had a lakeside room for 2 nights and it was perfect. Plenty of space, and possibly the cleanest hotel room I've ever stayed in. Everything from the shower curtain to the carpet (the usual places to find ick) was spotless. Beds super comfortable and sheets are awesome. Lovely soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash in dispensers on to the shower wall. One thing to note is the bathtub is dangerously slippery. Mats would be helpful, before someone gets hurt.

Beach and pool area are both beautiful and clean with plentiful loungers. The beach is raked each morning by staff who are cheerful and clearly take pride in their jobs. Every staff member I spoke to was friendly. Several smokers at the beach, leaving their butts for the staff to clean up. This is why we can't have nice things. I'd rate it 5 stars in every category, except . . .

Second trip was just for one night and we chose a poolside room. It's smaller, has a sunken spot in the floor. It was okay, just not as nice as the lakeside room all around. Would not choose this room again.

It was clean but the weird (and disturbing) thing was we found cookie or cracker crumbs in one of the beds. Weird because the sheets certainly seemed clean and the sheets were fresh so the only thing we could think of was maybe a maid was eating while making the bed? Makes no sense, but it was very late and we were super tired so we let it go. The bathtub had been treated with that abrasive coating, so no one will break their neck taking a shower.

We loved the first stay so much that we were planning a return trip at some point this summer. After the second stay though, not...

Loved this hotel. Stayed here with my husband for our anniversary weekend. The property is lovely. Really nice pool. Private beach. Definitely want to come back here with the littles. Every room has a little table and chairs outside the room so you could sit and have coffee in the morning or sit out at night. There's also a propane BBQ in front of the room so you can BBQ if you like. The beach has a really nice fire pit with Adirondack chairs around it. Everyone there was really friendly. Guest included. The hotel itself had a camping vibe outside, if that makes sense. You could make smores, sit out and watch the stars, or just go for a walk. It was really nice. The location is perfect. We arrived Friday and didn't move our car until we left on Sunday. You are right on the main street. The only thing I wasn't thrilled with was to walk in and out of the property there's a steep hill. Not horrible by any means but definitely not my favorite. If you have a family member in a wheelchair it might be a little work. But like I said, not horrible. The view from the hotel is gorgeous. You are right on the lake. It's beautiful. The room was really nice. Clean. I took pictures the day we left, so please ignore the towels on the floor lol 100% I would recommend. Especially if you have children. They even have family suites you can rent. There was so much for them there. Beach, playground, pool. You could even rent paddle boards and kayaks. There were a lot of families there. But it wasn't super noisy or anything like that. It was really nice. Decently priced. Will definitely be back :) I hope this review helps others. If you get to go here, Enjoy and...
