Great spot right on the lake. Fantastic view. They had a table when we walked in, but they were very busy. All the staff was friendly and efficient. Grabbed a few drinks, the Bloody Mary was nice and tempting (bacon not pictured because I couldn't wait.) I was a little concerned with some of the prices, but when the food was delivered you could tell the freshness and high quality of the seafood was worth it. Calamari was tender and hot! It was paired with a nice marinara sauce. We probably could have eaten two orders. The Cod Fish and Chips was honestly the best I've had on the East Coast. It's a favorite of mine and I've been disappointed A LOT. This was perfection. The beer batter was a fluffy, crunchy, golden brown! The Cisco fries ketchup and tartar didn't live up to the beauty of that Cod, but it was all fine too. I can't say enough about how amazing that fish was though. It should be served on a golden platter. The crab cakes were also fantastic. Again you could tell that quality and care went into making them. I was only able to steal a few bites, but they were delicious and came with a nice dipping sauce. My kids stressed from the kids menu, and getting a free cookie for dessert made their day, and stopped a lot of the arguments we usually have about dessert. I'm a sucker for dessert and ordered their key lime pie. I was warned it was small, and not a slice of pie. It was small and round but delicious as well. It was light and fluffy and just the right but of acid after the fried food. We will definitely be back!

In the mood for a lakeside lunch and stumbled on this restaurant. It's right on the water so it satisfied our itch. Kids were hungry and so got them their typical kids menu grub but we found ourselves a bit unimpressed with what was available for us. First, most of the dishes were unavailable like fish n chips and crab cakes. We ended up getting a ceaser wrap and sante fe wrap which were just eh. Another thing to mention is the lack of value on the menu. In my estimation prices were higher for a basic wrap and then if you want to add fries to that you're looking at $20? That's NYC prices. Finally, they don't have a very good beer list which was the nail in the coffin for me. If you're looking for lakeside views than this is a cool place but I think you can find better options in the area in my opinion.

If I could give this restaurant a 0 star I would! We started off by waiting for 30 minutes for a table which is understandable especially due to COVID and only being able to use 50% of the tables. By the time we were sat down we waited roughly 10 minutes just to get a drink. Our server was a young lady who was not very friendly and wasn’t attentive at all through the entirety of our dinner. We were expecting to have our appetizer ordered with drinks or shortly after drinks but then again we had to wait another 10 minutes to be rushed to ordered both appetizers and entrees. I received a lemon water which was good but my friends iced tea was absolutely disgusting. It takes extremely watered down. After waiting about 45 minutes for food we finally received our appetizers just to be completely disappointed. My friend payed $12 for 5 mozzarella sticks and I received calamari even though I ordered clams. Our waitress didn’t bother coming over to see how to see how the appetizers were so I had to call her over after waiting another a little while to finally tell her calamari was not what I ordered. She was rude and didn’t feel the need to apologize yet puffed her chest and walked away annoyed. After another 10 ish wait we received our entrees and yet again my was wrong. I ordered the crab cakes and received a chicken sandwich. Again after another 10-15 minutes because our waitress had no means to check on us, I saw her, pulled her aside and told her my entree wasn’t actually my entree. She then stated “I don’t know what’s going on back there” even though clearly it wasn’t the cooks fault. I received both my appetizer and entree directly after I told her it was wrong. My actual appetizer (clams) and entree (crab cakes) were both cold which makes me believe they were at another persons table and they sat there waiting for the waitress as well just for our food to be swapped. Honestly the whole thing was a mess and besides critiquing the service the food was very unimpressive. The crab cakes were extremely mushy with no flavor and my friend’s bacon chicken ranch sandwich completely lacked in flavor aswell. I have been coming to Lake George for years and thank god I’ve always avoided this place. I certainly will not be back! The service was absolutely horrible. I don’t think I’ve ever had worse service than at this restaurant. Extremely disappointed. The only nice thing was the view of the lake!

This is 2.5 star place. First timer for lunch. GREAT location. Plenty of outdoor seating with lake views. Very cool looking building. That's where the goodness ends. Plenty of staff on hand and our waitress was decent. I didn't get any sense that she wanted to be there. Make no mistake, I'm not looking to make a friend, but it would be nice to not feel like a burden, even if you pretend. The beer came in a plastic cup. That was a big mistake. Tasted terrible. Needed a nice hefty glass cup for an adult. The homemade New England clam chowder was the best part of the experience. However, the cheap oyster crackers were stale. The chowder was great even without the crackers. The french fries were also good and the breaded shrimp wasn't bad. A little on the greasy side but at least the food came out near to hot. I always want hot food served hot, that is important. The place wasn't as clean as I'd like it to be and we had a serious bee problem at the table right next to the bar. Price wasn't bad but the overall experience was a 2.5 star. In a world where you can expect more, you should. Find a different place unless you like the frat-like beer experience.

Our recent dining experience at Boardwalk Restaurant & Marina was quite disappointing. We ordered the Lobster Bisque Soup, Crab Cake, and Lobster Roll, all of which were surprisingly bland and lacked the rich, flavorful taste we anticipated. Adding to our dissatisfaction, the fries were excessively oily, making them unenjoyable. The lack of free parking added another layer of frustration, especially considering the high prices of the dishes. It's disappointing when you have to pay a premium for a meal and then deal with inconvenient parking. On a positive note, the view of the lake was stunning, providing a picturesque backdrop for our meal. Additionally, the staff was very nice and attentive, which did help improve the overall experience. Unfortunately, despite the beautiful scenery and friendly service, the subpar food quality and the overall poor value for money left us with a less than satisfactory impression of the restaurant.

Had no problem getting a table. We had a large group. More than 10. Went to relax and this was our first stop for lunch. The view was spectacular and serene. Party had to be complete in order to be seated. This was Friday right before Labor Day. I had ordered the fish and chips. The fish was huge and nice juicy chunks inside. Cole slaw was light but needed more of a zing. The sweet potato taters was extra crispy and melt In your mouth good with the sandwich. New England clam chowder was creamy but not heavy. Great choice on trying that. Real clams with oyster crackers. What was the BEST was the cape Cod chicken salad. So light and refreshing...MMmm..Pricing was moderate and the bathroom was decent. Would come by again for sure !
