We've been coming to LG for over a decade now at least every summer, and we always have seen this place when walking on the main street. We were always interested in going, but always went back to the same restaurants we liked. However this weekend we are in LG and with most restaurants being closed we decided to try this pizza place. The guy who took our order at the register was very kind (not true to the name) and helped show us the different size pies. We're very picky eaters and only got a plain pie. We also decided to get an order of garlic knots. There was only one other group inside at the time, and our food took about 10-15 mins (we are at an off time 2:00). The pizza was delicious, we're from Long Island where almost every pizza place is at least decent, and this pizza was one of our favorites, better than most at home. They did forget about our garlic knots however they were very kind and prompt about bringing them to us with them coming only a short 1-2 mins after, and brought us an extra dish of marinara sauce without us asking. The knots were amazing and my favorite ever, same with everyone else who ate them. The only thing that could have been better with them was that they were in a lot of grease, but it probably made them taste better anyways (not healthier but they tasted fantastic). The price was also very reasonable being about the same price as it would at home even with it's location, $18 for a large pie and $4 for the garlic knots which were very small but there were a lot of them. We were very happy with the whole experience and meal, and very sad we had not gone during all of our years in LG. We're not able to go back again for another meal this trip, but looking forward to...
Read moreI recently ordered delivery from Pizza Jerks and unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations. I ordered two large pizzas and was informed that the delivery would take approximately 45 minutes. However, upon calling back after the given time, I was informed that they couldn't locate my order. It was quite frustrating, but eventually, they managed to find my order, resulting in an additional 20-minute wait.
When the pizzas finally arrived, I was disappointed by their quality. The crust was thin and lacked substance, leaving me craving a more substantial and satisfying bite. Additionally, the crispy chicken I ordered turned out to be anything but crispy. The texture was far from desirable, failing to deliver on the promised crunchiness.
To add to the disappointment, the buffalo sauce tasted remarkably similar to Frank's hot sauce, lacking the distinct flavor profile that one would expect from a well-crafted buffalo sauce. It was a letdown, as I had hoped for a more nuanced and flavorful sauce to accompany the pizza.
Overall, the pizza from Pizza Jerks was a major letdown. It failed to live up to the positive reviews I had read before placing my order. The lackluster crust, non-crispy chicken, and underwhelming buffalo sauce left me unsatisfied. I hope the restaurant takes these concerns into account and makes improvements to ensure a more enjoyable dining experience for its customers...
Read moreI cannot talk about the food because we never got past trying to get the order for delivery for almost 15 minutes on the phone so I canceled everything because I just couldn’t believe it was happening. I gave my credit card number then I was asked for a ZIP Code, which is understandable, but then I was asked For a house number for the credit card which is now going a little too far just to be told by the manager who I believe his name is Ryan that owners have it set up. I am the CEO/president of Travel Media I have never heard of for house address or house number When you’re giving your credit card for pizza delivery but the most appalling part was the girl on the phone should not have been on the phone. Ryan said they were trying to get through a busy evening so then why was she on the phone with me for 15 minutes trying to place a pizza pie and an order of chicken wings two items that took 15 minutes, unbelievable I would never recommend this place. I don’t know about the food how it is the service and the lack of the girls wanting to give me their manager OK saying can I relay a message that I threatened to go there myself and walk in and then they gave me the manager it’s Paul, owner of Travel Media would never recommend this place to anyone. It’s just not worth the hassle and definitely don’t give your apartment or house number with your credit card...
