We were a family of 4 walking and stopped to read the menu. Looked nice from the outside and menu options/pictures seemed to be good, and especially good vegetarian options. Unfortunately that is when the "good" stops. We walked in and were not greeted immediately although the place was completely dead. That should have been a red flag. But we were finally "greeted" after seeking the attention of one of the girls just staring into space looking bewildered. Although the server was nice, she spoke absolutely no English so it was very difficult to get answers since she also had an extremely difficult time understanding us. This was all fine as we pointed out the items on the menu/pictures...you were def not making any special requests. We were shocked to receive the food in cheap Giants (NFL) football paper plates and very flimsy paper cups, cheap straws and cheap plastic cutlery (that you can barely eat with). Again, this would be ok if you were at a fast food place or free picnic but not for an eat in restaurant with pretty high prices considering. But the WORST part about our experience was the quality of the food. It was beyond below bad, other than the fresh (and probably only fresh item) baked bread. 2 of us ordered the falafel platter and one greek salad with Chicken and one "beef" kebob platter. The falafel were absolute mush/barely cooked, and had a hair incorporated into one - not sure about the others since we stopped eating them at that point. The salad was "old", wet, wilted, and had clumps of mud/dirt throughout. The chicken was dry and tasteless. The beef was absolutely not any beef any of us had ever tasted. It was the strangest texture and taste. We really wanted to like this place and the food, sorry to say it was one of the worst places we have ever eaten at. I feel terrible to post a bad review because I am sure that they are very nice people but they really need to consider cleanliness and quality otherwise this place will not...
Read moreVery expensive for what you get. Knock down like 3 dollars on everything is my suggestion. It felt like a bad investment however I was staving so you guys were convenient. NO ICE. Yo you got to carry ice man. The drinking absurdly marked up. 6/10 food. The gyros were pretty good, but oily at the bottom. I didn't have the falafels but it seems like everyone else liked it very much. The hummus are bread were amazing however it is so expensive for what you get. The waitress and workers were sooo nice. It is wrong to rate humans but they are a 10/10. The wait was so quick. However i'm not sure if this caused the food to be mid warm-hot. I dislike the spaghetti. I really didn't like it however my family said it was pretty fine. If you are really into spaghetti this isn't for you. The food was all like I sad before mid warm-hot. This has sooo much potential. The restaurant is well decorated and it pleased me. I am easily pleased though. However it is the food that matters. Please, please, please make the food warmer and try other spaghetti dishes. And please make it affordable for the price we get. The staff I will say...
Read moreDisappointing experience. For the excessively overpriced food, I expected at least complimentary water, but none was offered. With no included beverages, we were left with the only option of purchasing their overpriced drinks, which felt unreasonably marked up.
Now, to the main issue: the wait time for food was far too long. Although I understand the restaurant may be short-staffed (the owners were present), they appeared more focused on chatting with what seemed to be friends visiting the establishment rather than preparing our meals promptly.
As for the food itself, it was underwhelming and felt cheaply made. My younger brother ordered chicken nuggets, which were clearly just frozen nuggets, possibly microwaved. The side salad with my meal was low quality, and my mother ordered the spaghetti, which she described as having “no flavor at all.”
Overall, the experience did not justify the high prices, and I would not...
