This hotel is very nice, fairly new structure the rooms and public areas are nice and clean. The pool area is awesome!!! The hotel has the Smart Control feature, I didn’t set it up during this visit but I saw what it controls and that feature seems pretty cool! HOWEVER, by far the worst customer service hotel I’ve stayed at. I travel a lot for work and usually stay in Hilton Hotels very frequently throughout Texas. One of the issues I ran into was that they don’t have pool towels in/or near the pool area. You have to go to the front desk to request towels, then your waiting at the desk for at least 10 mins just to be told “I just took some out there”, after explaining to Rachel that yes she did but she placed the pile of towels on a chair that was occupied by another family so WE needed towels. I don’t know how many customers like having someone roll their eyes at them, but I find that very rude and disrespectful. When I voiced that I would like to speak with management regarding other customer service issues. I got a text from Kristina (assistant manager), she asked what concerns I had so I told her my concerns and NEVER heard back from her. Crickets…..Just blew me off. Overall staff seem overwhelmed that they snap at customers with agitation. After reading a few other reviews, I see others have had similar experiences regarding customer service. I do recommend this hotel, as long as you never have to stop at...
Read moreI stayed here for a work trip to the area. This is a fairly new hotel. The rooms are nice, the showers are clean and spacious. The staff have been great. What has not been great is that at exactly 11:25 pm for the last two nights, the fire alarm has gone off with no actual fire. Speaking with other guests, I am told this has happened several nights in a row, and speaking with another guest who has been here extensively for months, this is a regular occurrence. So, this is a known issue that the owners / operators of this location have not resolved. They book guests knowing that their guests will not be able to sleep through the night. It is unacceptable to operate a business this way. It could be overlooked if this was a one-off event. It is not a one-off event.
My concern, of course, is that with repeated false alarms, should a real emergency occur, I would not be inclined to respond to future alarms. Also, how can I be confident that the faulty fire alarm system will work properly in the event of a real emergency.
I expressed my concerns to the staff, and I passed my concerns to the Fire Marshal's...
Read moreStaff aren't the friendliest. Checking in was a struggle when the staff berated me for not being on the reservation. I've never had this issue as a diamond member. My husband books the room for me and I check in. If this is a policy to where all the adults need to be on the reservation, that's fine, but there is a right way and wrong way to inform customers about it. Explaining I may be an ex wife going to attack my ex husband in front of my 10 year old child is NOT the thing to say. I asked my daughter what she thought of the lady behind the counter and she thought she was mean.
Front desk staff just really dropped the ball. Enough for me to write a review. Front staff even told a customer on the phone "that's above my pay grade" and asked them why they wanted to cancel their reservation... really? There are more instances but I'm trying to keep this short.
I'm only staying 2 nights but it will be my last 2 nights at this location. I will stay at a different hotel next time I come to the...
