So I had a notification on my Samsung A71 that there was an update early morning, Sunday, March 14th. It was the usual uneventful download, or so I thought.
I decided to go out and run a couple errands around 9:40 am. Took a quick look at my phone to make sure everything was ok. Yup. Headed out the door.
So I decided to play a podcast as I was leaving. Once I got on the highway I lost connection with the network. That's strange, never happened before.
Once I got to my destination I still hadn't reconnected to the network. I noticed my nearly fully charged phone was now down to 88% within 1 hour of usage, checked my battery I had over 18 hours left. Still wasnt getting a continuous signal. Ran another errand which took an hour and my phone was now down to 61%.
So anyways, went home tried to problem solve my phone and could not do anything. Frustrated, I decided to reach out to the folks at the Verizon Store in Weatherford.
I get there and Jordan Holley greeted me at the door. He patiently listened to my tale of woe of the now turned brick A71.
He asked me a few additional questions and then he got to work trying to repair the paper weight. Pushing buttons, accessing menus, calling customer service...nothing. Jordan couldn't save my once trusty mid range phone that I had for well over a year. He tried though.
But, he saved the day.
He went above and beyond to remedy the oopsie that system update made to my phone. Once done, thanks to his diligence and problem solving can do attitude, I walked out with an amazing working phone and plan upgrade.
All of the associates at this store are patient and good natured. It helps to stay that way yourself and have a sense of humor as well.
Again, another shoutout to the folks at the Verizon store in Weatherford!

Read moreJose, Fernando and Jeff were great to work with. I was in the military for over 20 years and have lived in numerous states as well as different countries prior to moving back to my home here in Texas and becoming a Realtor. These three gentleman have been nothing short of extraordinary when it comes to customer service and knowledge!
I was previously with AT&T and after three different trips to the store to get them to help me fix my phone that I purchased through them (including a factory reset) they could never get it resolved. At this point I was through with AT&T.
I immediately went to Verizon and not only switched phone companies but once I showed the problem to Jose within 10 minutes he had no only found the problem but also resolved it.
I had already planned on switching service providers to Verizon from AT&T because of poor signal but had planned on waiting until my payment plan with AT&T was up. Verizon signal and AT&T signal are not even on the same levels to be compared against.
20 miles off the coast in the ocean my Veteran buddy has signal with Verizon and a mile from the dock I've already lost signal.
In the Idaho mountains at 8,000-10,000 feet elevation we had to rotate passing my buddies phone with Verizon signal while my AT&T signal was being used as a paper weight back at base camp.
Thank you for taking the time to read my comments but I just wanted everybody that took the time to read this to understand how good Verizon signal is and how great the customer service is with this Verizon store in Weatherford, Texas especially when working with Jose,...
Read moreI am reviewing an employee not Verizon. Although Verizon should be ashamed to have someone so unprofessional representing their company. Jordan Holley claims to be a business manager. I went to this location to work with Trey Munoz who had already been assisting me but he was called to another location according to Jordan but he was a “business manager” so he didn’t see what he couldn’t do that Trey could. His words. Of course as the typical “shady salesman” he starts off trying to be helpful. I should’ve known he was a liar when he started to ask me to do things that Trey already set up. Jordan created an entire new account with Verizon and tried to port over a phone number that was already with Verizon causing my number and phone not to work for 3 days. He tried to say it was my phone then my old provider. I went in to get a sim and have my husband and son added to the account. Jordan also put himself as the sales person. When Trey had already set us up. When my phone didn’t work and my number was showing to be disconnected Jordan tried to give us another sim. Then said we could just leave Verizon and go elsewhere. Unprofessional. This “man” represents himself as a business manager and claimed to be a veteran and bragged about he has 10K go out of his bank monthly. The “nice” guy act turned around and he showed his true colors. Going over everything what we had discussed with Trey isn’t what we even got with Jordan. Do not do business with Jordan Holley. After much time with Verizon they found where Jordan screwed...
