At around 1:45pm today my mom went into this less than worthy establishment, to purchase some storage containers, and a few other items like a pack of cutting boards. As she was shifting through the cramp packed shelves to get to some specific storage containers she wanted, they proceeded to fall on the floor. In the vicinity there were 3 employees who sat, watched, and laughed at my mom. Never offered helped nor checked to make sure she was okay. Just laughed. My mom just had surgery about a month ago and was trying to venture out for the first time since. When I called the manager to bring this issue to her awareness, she questioned me as though I was lying and had a more than condescending tone and attitude. Towards the end I asked her if something was going to be done about these three girls as that was not mentioned in the conversation. She began to catch even bigger attitude with me, she said she was not going to tell me whether something happened or not, which I don’t care to know the extent of, just that something was done. That behavior on the employee side was inexcusable. I then informed her that I would in fact be leaving a review, in which her tone got even more aggressive as she tried to tell me how I did not need to leave a review. I went in last week and wasn't gonna leave this review but I’m still appalled at what happened. The tall blonde lady cashier treated me like I was a dog. I popped through the shorter way to let her know the woman’s restroom ran out of toilet paper quickly. When she looked up and saw me she yelled the lines the other way and rolled her eyes. Then she turned to the people she was ringing out, she said something about how they put bright orange signs up and people still don't listen you have to train them mocking me essentially. I then asked to speak to a manager I wasn’t even gonna complain about her just the bathroom. She said she was in charge of customer service then told me get in the line again. I have never been treated this way at a Home-Goods store ever. Matter of fact I drive from Hurst just to come to this location it was my favorite. This store went down hill fast, just a few months ago it was amazing Im assuming new management must be at play. I also have brought this appalling situation up to corporate. I have been shopping at “Home Goods” for decades but, never had such a pleasant experience as in the Weatherford Texas location. An employee, Kristie was so pleasant, professional and generally just delightful. I have opted to not open a credit card for years or ever utilize the rewards ever before. However, she was so informative as to why I should that I indulged. I just moved to area and do design. I look forward to seeing Kristie and this well stocked store very often in the future.
