Calypso Boutique Hotel — Hotel in Wildwood

Stayed here for one night toward the end of our trip and I was pleased with the room. From the outside is no-frills and we were not sure how the room would look. But the room was very clean and had a small kitchen, which was a nice plus. The arrangement of the room is spacious as well. The only issue we noticed was with parking. The parking at the actual hotel belongs to the neighboring motel so you have to park in other lots designated to the Quebec Motel (which was packed when we stayed). This may cause some issues finding parking so it should be taken into account when travelling during busy periods. Otherwise, the hotel perfectly fit our needs. If you're looking for a hotel that's really close to the boardwalk and within walking distance of nightlife/bars, this is definitely the one for you. Easily gets 5 star just on location alone! Its on the main strip next to boardwalk on the beach. It might be 500ft maybe. You walk out the door turn to the left n boom ur in the sand or on the boardwalk playing games. 1 draw back and only 1 , I must be completely honest here , there was a tv cabinet but no TV... lol yes I could of said something but didn't really care. Rest of the facility was great. Staff so accommodating! The woman at the office go ask her where you should go she will write out the best list of must do's for you. Pool is cross the street and was not crowded at all. They have bbq grills all over for you to cook with , who else does that 😆 We will be going back there again most definitely. Oh! So I gave a 2 star for the overall, because of the location! The room was extremely tiny! I booked through booking.com and was supposed to get have Clarem happy days. Booked back in March and on the day of my arrival (July 14th) was told that they moved me to one of their other hotels) so then I had to move my car, so I’d be closer. But I’m angry, because the room was small, the hotel room was awful to open & shut, the shower curtain leaked everywhere, hard to get in & out around the room, it was super tiny! No table. So had to eat on the floor! Paid for a queen bed and it was definitely a full size bed. Things need to be a lot more updated! And not right to move me because someone else cancelled their trip!
