I recently stayed at Hanoi Ecogreen Hostel located in Hanoi's bustling Old Quarter. Overall, my experience was fairly satisfactory, with a few notable observations.Service: The service was decent, but it fell short of my expectations. While the staff members were generally friendly and willing to assist, their response time to inquiries and requests could be improved. Nonetheless, they were always polite and tried their best to address any concerns that arose.Facilities and Cleanliness: The hostel's facilities were well-maintained, and the cleanliness was top-notch. Location: The location of Hanoi Ecogreen Hostel was a highlight. Situated in the heart of Hanoi's Old Quarter, it offered easy access to the city's vibrant nightlife, delicious street food, and iconic landmarks. The hostel's central location made it convenient to explore the bustling streets and vibrant atmosphere that this part of the city is known for.Pro Tip: One helpful tip I would like to share is to always take pictures of your clothes before sending them for laundry. This precaution can help avoid any potential mix-ups or missing items, ensuring a hassle-free experience during your stay.In summary, Ecogreen Hostel in Hanoi's Old Quarter provided a satisfactory experience. The cleanliness, facilities, and strategic location make it a suitable choice for travelers looking to explore the lively streets of Hanoi. Taking necessary precautions, such as photographing your clothes before giving them for laundry, can also help ensure a...
Read moreAVOID this mild hole at all coasts!!!This booking is non-refundable. You know why? Because you won't stay in this hole and lose your money. I think this is the only way how they survive- stealing your money. When I came to that place I was shocked how old, dirty and broken was the hall. I asked where is the locker room to wait until2 o'clock- they don't have. So anyone can come and steal your stuff.I made a special request- down floor room if there is no elevator. There was no elevator but that b. from there reception can't read. So I asked again for the lower floor. And you know what is the lowest floor there? Put he 3rd!!!! Floor. Without elevator, round dark old stairs, you can break yourself there easily, ceramic is all cracked and moving when you step on it. I went there to check the room while waiting for check in and what I saw I wanted to cry. Ita not kike on the photos ctrip provided. Not at all!!! All wall in mold, everything is super old and broken. I think curtains were hold on a bubble gum.I contacted ctrip.support telling them what is going on and showing the real photos. And the b. from reception was so aggressive. She is lucky I hold myself that day and didn't break her bones. She was talking like she is a queen of the * hill and she is. She said she won't refund anything and she doesn't care who will call her she will keep my money. you should not even look at this hole if you don't want to ruin your day and sponsor ***...
Read moreLocation and price of room was great. Stayed at backside of Hotel which was quiet, but downside was small room and toilet, but still good :)
Unfortunately booked specific hotel as had parking available on site, and 24hour reception with CCTV. Upon arriving we were informed no overnight parking, and had a big hassle finding an overnight car park as the one suggested by the Hotel basically got angry for asking him the price and eff-ed us off, which left us without an option. The manager rudely said it was not her problem, which was very unprofessional (Yes, we know this is Asia but we had no option were to park the bike!) and finally told us to keep the bike in the hotel for the night, and look for a carpark the following day.
Agoda immediately updated the correct info, and staff was very friendly (including manager) the next two days :)
I would suggest a water refill (even at a small cost). Hanoi being very hot, you consume alot of water and it is a pain to buy all that...
