Fantastic budget hotel on a quieter street in the Old Quarter! The room was very clean with views overlooking the active street. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and helped us with any questions we had about the area. They arranged our transportation to and from the airport (which was less stressful then trying to figure it out ourselves). We paid for it with our bill at the hotel which made it very easy (free shuttles don't seem to exist unless you're staying at the very most expensive hotels fyi). They also helped arrange a city tour which we hadn't planned on doing, which turned out to be fantastic. The included breakfast was great, and included fresh cooked options in addition to the buffet. I am disabled (leg amputee) and the elevator was a must for me and worked perfect. Our modern bathroom had everything you need (hair dryer as well). The air conditioning worked great for cooling off and sleeping. This is a wonderful little hotel. Clean, comfortable, friendly, helpful, at a budget price. If you want a pool or to hang around the hotel, this is NOT the place for you (no pool, small lobby). This is a perfect place for those who spend their days exploring, and want to return to rest in a very comfortable, clean room. HIGHEST MARKS. This will be our go to hotel in all our...
Read moreWe stayed here for 3 nights in Hanoi City. It is conveniently located within walking distance to Hanoi Old Quater. You can visit the Night Market easily, but be careful with the road traffic as this place is busy at its peak time. The hotel serves an acceptable buffet breakfast daily. The plain fried rice, fried noodles, and pho are nice. However, the pastry can be improved. The bread was a little hard and could be it was stored in the fridge or chiller. Our room is clean, cozy, and comfortable. But, the bathroom ventilation may need to be checked because the waste smell goes into our room and the shower water is not hot after a while. Overall, the staff are friendly and helpful.
There's a dessert shop next to this hotel called Caramen-Tau Hu Tran Chau, they make homemade yogurt, caramel, and tauhu which is super good and you should try it. There's a laundry service in front of this hotel called Laundree & Coffee, and we send our clothes there. The Laundree & Coffee laundry service doesn't meet our expectations, because our clothes are partially still wet and they did not fold your clothes properly. if you stay in Vacanza Premier Hotel and send your clothes to this laundry, double-check your clothes...
Read moreThe hotel is very clean and well located within the Old Quarter with a number of restaurants and cafes on your doorstep. Pleasingly there was very little noise that could be heard from our room on the fourth floor. The breakfast was solid and they provided packed breakfast boxes for anyone needing to leave early in the morning.
We were also allowed a late checkout of 3:45pm instead of the standard 12:00pm because my mother was not well and needed to rest as much as possible before making our way to the airport - this was much appreciated.
I booked for a double room which should have had two double beds. However we were only given a room with one double bed plus one roller bed as can be seen in the photos. They didn't even tell me upfront and it was only after checking in that I realised we had been short changed. Hence I have marked down my rating of the hotel.
Tip: the restaurant directly across the road from the hotel was very good - we had the pork ribs congee and bun...
