It's not bad at all but it's not great either. The beds are VERY hard, and the aircondition is small to the room sizes so it takes a long time to chill it, and even at maximum chill it won't do the job properly due to the poorly insulation. Doors to balcony is not tight and windows neither, so the warmth keep slipping in, and the hallway in the building turns on light whenever something moves, and since they have glass from room to hallway you get disturbed though the night many times because it turns on. Also it's a noisy street to je warned for those who is noise sensitive.
Also it has to be remarked that the hotel does not offer breakfast which is difficult to find in Hanoi actually. Proper Breakfast at least atms we know it in the western world! So you will have to accept banh mi or noodles for the restaurants close by.
If you want a hotel that's above and beyond when it comes to comfort and service i really recommend La Siesta Classic Hotel which is close by! The price is a little more but worth it if you can't live with a hard bed and no breakfast. If you can though then this hotel is super great for...
Read moreThis is a place where nobody cares. Staircase has huge layers of dust that have not been cleaned for months. Broken things fixed half heartedly or not at all. The sink in my bathroom was half falling off the wall. Balcony is dirty. The room was small, just enough space to walk around the bed. furniture unpractical, bathroom ventilation extremely loud (cannot be switched off separately to the light). No hot water (there is a switch for it, but makes no difference).
Receptionists were all uninterested in the guests, not helpful (telling me to Google my questions by myself as first answer). Very eager to get back to their social media on their phones.
The location is nice, a small alley with locals coming for lunch next door. The balcony view was nice. The room itself was clean enough. There was no housekeeping during stay, no refill of water.
This is obviously a place that is just left to generate money without any care...

The hot & cold water didnt work ( no hot water at shower in winter, how do u think?) the electricity plug is loosen and too old. The tower is at the closet, they dont serve it. There’s no toilet paper … Possitive thing: you can get discount if book directly, not through agoda or booking. They has porter to carry your...
