I recently visited Blackbird and was absolutely delighted with the coffee experience. The moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the cozy and welcoming ambiance, which set the perfect tone for a relaxing coffee break.

The menu offers a fantastic variety of coffee options, from classic espresso and cappuccino to unique specialty drinks. I decided to try their hot latte, and it was an absolute treat. The coffee was perfectly brewed, boasting a rich, robust flavor with a smooth finish. It was clear that the baristas are skilled and passionate about their craft.

What truly impressed me was the quality of the beans used. The aroma alone was intoxicating, and the taste was simply divine. Every sip was a testament to the meticulous attention to detail and the use of high-quality ingredients.

The service at Blackbird was top-notch. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to ensure that I had a great experience. They took the time to explain the different coffee options and helped me choose the perfect drink based on my preferences. I would definately say that is better than the Eggyolk next door!!!

In addition to the outstanding coffee, the café itself is beautifully decorated and maintained. The seating is comfortable, and the overall atmosphere is both chic and inviting. It’s a great spot to relax, work, or catch up with friends.

The pastries and snacks available also deserve a mention. They perfectly complement the coffee, making the experience even more enjoyable. I tried their croisant, and it was fresh, delicious, and paired wonderfully with my coffee.

Great little third wave coffee shop in Hanoi old quarter. The baristas are extremely skilled and knowledgeable, and friendly too! I had a pour over, the next day a Cascara, and on our last day an iced pour over. My dad's cappucino was proper - very creamy and foamy, putting the flavour and texture of the coffee above frivolous latte art. Everything meticulously measured and timed, as it should be done everywhere, and very thoroughly cleaned after use. Third wave coffee places elsewhere could learn from this shop.

We bought a few bags of their Arabica beans to take back home with us. It was nice to chat coffee with Hui (not sure how to spell his name), who was very friendly and asking me about barista life back in Amsterdam. Blackbird was known for their exceptional atmosphere and nonchalant staff, although the drink is alright, a bit overpriced though but it is understandable because of rental place and its service. Their birdy boost (non-coffee product/yogurt with mixed fruits and cereal) that I ordered was creamy, and can considered to be a really light breakfast (I think they added too much cream to the yogurt tho).
