This place is located very centrally overlooking a very busy street in old Hanoi. Great for access, but a little noisy. The room is of a decent size and had a balcony overlooking the street. The bathroom was a bit mouldy and smelly and the stairs look like they are never dusted. The entrance is by an elevator in the back of the shop and the stairs down lead to a dead end which is a bit concerning in case of a fire. The girls who work in the shop also run the hotel but they are both lovely and super helpful. This isn’t really a home stay as it isn’t a home, just a bunch of rooms , above a shop. Basically, if you need a cheap place to stay in central Hanoi this would be fine but don’t expect anything else. Note-do not book the hotel taxi to pick you up from the airport. Read moreLovely clean, comfy big room, nice white sheets and wooden decor. The staff were very helpful and each room is on its own floor so it almost feels like you have your own full apartment. Great attention to detail with snacks, tea / coffee etc in the room and nice bathroom products to use. Only 2 things that could be better were the shower being straight over the toilet, and it was quite noisy some nights out on the street (not the owners fault of course). the location is great if you want to be in the centre of the old quarter, however if you want silence at night it might be better to look further out.
