We stayed here in January 2024. The personal attention we received from the entire staff from the moment we walked up the front steps to check in until we checked out was the best we ever received in all of our 30+ year travel experience over four different continents. We cannot say enough about the politeness, kindness and exuberant hospitality of the ENTIRE staff. Here are a few examples of the extraordinary hospitality of the staff. The staff observed our frantic hurry to finish breakfast in order to be ready for our tour pick-up and took initiative to pack our unfinished food and drinks as well as additional food to eat on our tour ride. They especially took care to pack warm milk, sweet pastries and watermelon for our 5-year old daughter whom they keenly noticed loved the sweet watermelon during breakfast. Further, on our checkout day the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us after we were no longer registered guests. First, after returning from a hot and sweaty day-long tour in Ninh Binh, they opened their spa facility to us for showering so we could continue to our next travel destination to Sa Pa. Next, they stored our 3 luggages at their hotel without any fee while we spent two days in Sa Pa and returned later to Hanoi to retrieve them before boarding our home flight from Hanoi. Aside from Thomas at the front desk, we are (regrettably) unaware of the names of the many other staff members who extended to us the utmost personal care and attention, all of whom deserve equal recognition and accolade as well as our deepest gratitude. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel O Gallery Premier in Hanoi and overall, it was a delightful experience.

One of the standout features of this boutique hotel is undoubtedly its staff. The team at Hotel O Gallery Premier, led by Mr. Thomas, the manager, is truly exceptional. Mr. Thomas possesses an impressive wealth of local knowledge, especially when it comes to recommending tours and activities in the area. His insights greatly enhanced our exploration of Hanoi, making our stay even more enjoyable.

One noteworthy aspect that added to our positive experience was the flexibility shown by the front desk. Travelling with kids can be challenging, and the hotel graciously allowed us to check in a bit early, which was a tremendous relief. The front desk staff deserves a special mention for their understanding and accommodating approach.

The hotel's location is another significant highlight. Situated conveniently in Hanoi, there are plenty of supermarkets both opposite and in close proximity to the hotel. This proved to be extremely convenient for us, providing easy access to essentials and making our stay even more comfortable.

While there were a few drawbacks, such as the lack of a view from basic rooms and the suggestion to inform the hotel in advance if checking in late, the positive aspects far outweighed these minor inconveniences. The staff's friendliness and willingness to assist, combined with the hotel's prime location, make it a great choice for travelers.

My partner and I spent three weeks visiting various places in Vietnam. Although we stayed in different types of accommodations throughout (from basic to five stars), I would say overall O'Gallery was the best. Customer service was exceptional. From the moment we arrived all the staff- from concierge to room service to restaurant- were attentive, friendly and warm. They clearly take pride in their work and pay attention to little details that go a long way, such as remembering your name or your plans. This was a definite differentiator to some of the other places we stayed at and to hotel customer service in general. Thank you to all the wonderful staff for your professionalism and care! Helping us plan day trips to Nin Binh and Ha Long Bay as well as logistics to Sapa were also greatly appreciated.

The location is excellent, within walking distance or a short cab ride to many attractions, shopping and food. The hotel and room were clean, classy with tasteful decor, and very comfortable, while morning breakfast was delicious with a balanced spread of options.

If asked what could be improved, the only thing that comes to mind is potentially updating plumbing as hot water or toilet flushing wasn't always consistent. This is probably due to the location and aging infrastructure and was not an issue for us at all. I only highlight as an area that could make the hotel even better than what it is already is.
