Hoops Heaven — Local services in Perth

I have been shopping with this store for a while and thought they were previously great. Recently I purchased basketball cards from them and was so disappointed when they arrived. I assumed I had purchased a box of cards as the picture and description listed were both of a box (explaining how many cards and packs per box etc). I was shocked when only one packet of cards arrived with 4 cards in it (for $45). I contacted them about the issue and the responses were incredibly short and rude. They advised me the title of the item said 'pack' and not 'box'. I explained that I must not have seen the title when i ordered this, but that the picture and description of the item was incorrect on the site. The other 'packs' on their site showed a picture of a single pack and the descriptions explained it was a single pack. They advised me that was the only picture they had and they used the box description as it was also what they had been provided. I explained they were a gift for my son's birthday and he was desperate for a box of cards (he loves opening them all up). I asked for a refund so I could afford to get him a box elsewhere. Another rude response saying they don't offer a refund for 'change of mind'. They were not willing to acknowledge the poor advertising of the product nor care about the issue I now had regarding my son's birthday gift. In their last email I was told 'we can't help you' then they proceeded to ignore my further emails requesting follow up with the manager. My son's birthday came and he sadly didn't get what he wanted. I will never purchase...

Been shopping here since they opened, but over the past 4 years especially (as my kids have entered their teens) it's become not just my #1 go to, but it's more and more become my whole families #1 destination. From athletic wear for playing in, compression wear, basketballs, basketball sneakers, casual summer clothing, school backpacks for my kids, jackets, jerseys, hoodies and sweat suits for winter, hats, socks, crocs... we even do most of our Christmas and birthday shopping there now, too. We've gotten to know all the boys at the store, and they've in turn gotten to know my whole family, too. They always greet us with a smile and go out of their way to look after us. They have an incredible range, they have an immaculate store, the friendliest staff, and you can almost always find a gem or two on their sale rack. Why on Earth would I shop at Footlocker or Rebel when I can get everything and more right here for the same price or better, get better service and support a small business at the same time. Its an easy choice for me. Hoops Heaven...

got a pair of shoes online, unfortunately ordered the wrong size as there was no size guide on the website & no clarification if the pink shoes I was ordering were men's or woman's... being pink I assumed woman's.. they came & didn't fit, I went in store to exchange for the right size, was told I was unable to exchange because I had tried them on, making them not brand new. What is the difference trying on at home to in store? There is nothing about this in their T&C's or policies. On top of that the staff member was nothing but rude & arrogant about the whole thing. I had to buy ANOTHER pair to get the size I needed & am now stuck with this pair, brand new, with no help or guidance what to do with them. will never be...
