Listen up, because I've got a lot to say about Murray Mews. This little joint in Perth's CBD might seem unassuming, but let me tell you, the food is anything but ordinary.
First off, let's talk about the service. The staff were welcoming and helpful, which is a great start. But I'm not here to talk about the service, I'm here to talk about the food. So let's get to it.
I started off with their chicken salad, and let me tell you, it was fresh and delicious. The chicken was cooked perfectly, the greens were crisp, and the lemon dressing had just the right amount of zing. This salad was a great way to whet my appetite.
Now, for the main event - the Reuben sandwich. Let me tell you, this sandwich was stacked high with pastrami, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and thousand island dressing, all between two slices of toasted rye bread. And the fries? They were crispy and cooked to perfection. But the real kicker was the pickles. They were homemade, and they were bloody fantastic. This sandwich was a real winner.
And then there was the banoffee pie. This dessert was to die for. The crust was buttery and crumbly, the caramel was sweet and gooey, and the bananas were fresh and just the right ripeness. And the whipped cream? It was light and fluffy and the perfect complement to the sweetness of the pie.
Overall, Murray Mews is a hidden gem in Perth's CBD. The food is fresh, delicious, and made with care. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves good food, and I can't wait to come...

I decided to try their flat white, and it was truly exceptional. The coffee was rich and smooth, a testament to their barista's skills. As an added bonus, my flat white featured a beautifully crafted "Swan" latte art, which added an extra touch of elegance and care to my coffee experience.
The staff at Murray Mews were incredibly friendly and attentive. They greeted me with warm smiles and made me feel right at home. Their prompt and courteous service ensured that I was well taken care of throughout my visit.

Read moreAs someone who loves to go to cafes, here is my honest review.
Ordered toasted avocado with an additional poached eggs - $25 and ordered a SMALL oat latte - paid overall $33 - very exorbitant for the value it offers. I’ve eaten in lots more cafes with much more exciting menu and tastier food for a similar price or cheaper but worth it. Happy to pay if it’s worth it. The coffee is good but doesn’t justify to be $8 in value and food was ok, little on the salty side…
The thing that annoyed me was I waited a little bit at the counter, 3 people there obviously saw me but didn’t acknowledge me for a good 3-5mins.l understand you’re busy but at least acknowledge your customer and inform them that you’d be serving as soon as you can. The service throughout was subpar wherein I didn’t feel welcome, no smiles, no friendly faces. Very disappointing. Won’t be...
