From the elevated paths of Mönchsberg, the panoramic view over Salzburg’s Altstadt (Old Town) is simply breathtaking. I stopped at several spots along my hike down from Fortress Hohensalzburg, with Humboldtterrasse offering one of the best angles for photos. Cloudy skies created soft, even lighting, which brought out the colors without harsh shadows—perfect for a peaceful mini photoshoot.

The area was quiet, with only a few locals enjoying the park benches, making it easy to take my time framing shots and soaking in the view.
