I recently dined at The Guru Fine Indian Cuisine, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. I encountered several issues during my visit, and the lack of service and unfriendly staff left me quite dissatisfied.

Firstly, I was disappointed that the restaurant didn't provide us with extra plates for our main course. This made sharing and enjoying our meal together quite challenging. It's basic hospitality to offer additional plates, and it was unfortunate that this simple request was neglected.

Moreover, when I requested extra naan, I was surprised to be informed that the kitchen was closed and unable to accommodate my request. It's disheartening when a restaurant cannot fulfill reasonable customer requests, especially when it involves something as basic as additional bread.

Additionally, I asked for a bowl to enjoy my curry properly, but I was refused by the staff. This lack of flexibility and refusal to meet a basic request added to the overall negative experience.

To make matters worse, despite the poor service, The Guru Fine Indian Cuisine still charged us gratuity. It felt unjustified to be charged for a service that was below par and left a lot to be desired.

Overall, my experience at The Guru Fine Indian Cuisine was marked by disappointment. The lack of extra plates, refusal of extra naan, denial of a simple bowl for curry, and being charged gratuity after such subpar service all contributed to my dissatisfaction. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and works towards improving the overall dining experience for...

Title: Unwelcoming Experience at THE GURU

Our attempt to enjoy a pleasant tea break at THE GURU turned into a disappointing encounter that left us feeling unwelcome and disrespected. Despite our simple request for tea, we were met with outright refusal at the entrance.

Arriving during brunch time, we were hoping to indulge in a relaxing tea experience. However, upon inquiring about tea service, we were met by a lady who appeared to be the owner. Her response was not only curt but delivered in a manner that exuded arrogance and rudeness.

To our surprise, she informed us that while they did serve tea, patrons seeking only beverages were not permitted to sit inside. Instead, we were instructed to take our tea in a package container and consume it outside. This policy seemed entirely unjustified, especially considering the restaurant was virtually empty, save for one family.

The blatant lack of customer respect and the judgmental attitude towards our order left a bitter taste in our mouths, metaphorically speaking. It's disheartening to encounter such treatment, especially when one enters with the intention of enjoying a simple pleasure like tea.

Regrettably, we have no plans to return to THE GURU in the future. We implore the management to reevaluate their approach and prioritize respect for all customers, regardless of their order size or preferences. After all, every patron deserves to feel valued...

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Guru restaurant in Canada, at the Niagara Falls, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality.

The ambiance of the restaurant was both cozy and elegant, creating the perfect setting for a delightful meal. The menu offered a wide variety of dishes, each described in a way that made choosing just one quite difficult. We decided to try a few different items, and every dish exceeded our expectations.

However, what truly made our evening special was the exceptional service provided by Zoravar. From the outset, Zoravar went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. His knowledge of the menu was impressive, and his recommendations were spot-on. He was attentive without being intrusive, always there when we needed something, yet giving us space to enjoy our meal and conversation.

Zoravar’s attention to detail was remarkable. He took the time to explain the ingredients and preparation methods of the dishes we were curious about, and his passion for the cuisine was evident.

His professionalism, coupled with his friendly demeanor, made us feel truly valued as guests.

In conclusion, Guru is a must try restaurant and offers not just a meal, but a dining experience that is enhanced by...

We thoroughly loved our meal! The food was delicious. The curries were smokey, rich, and well prepared. The rice was well seasoned and flavorful. Everything we tried was perfect! They also have a number of gluten free and vegetarian options (which we are both of those things). They even had a number of options were you could remove onion and garlic, for lowfod map people (something I've never seen any one offer in the states). On top of that, the staff was attentive and kind! They even helped my wife find her lost retainer! I have no idea why some people are posting negative reviews. Everything was reasonably priced (especially for the area) and yes, rice was extra, but really you only need a single plate of rice for probably four servings of curry. If you order naan, you definitely only need one plate of rice. My wife and I got an appetizer, two curries, two drinks, and a rice. We paid about $64 before tip (not automatically added as others have said). Perfectly reasonable pricing. We had leftovers, even. Some people will drop $100 on bland steak and potatoes, then call it fine dining. Drop $100 on Indian and suddenly, it's too expensive. Crazy. Ignore the negative reviews. If you're in Niagara and craving good Indian food: make Guru your stop. We will definitely be back.

Went to pick up food since our daughter couldn’t eat at the other restaurant(she is allergic to dairy, egg and tree nuts). The First Lady was really nice and took our order for pick up “Dal tadka” and me a notes. We went back after 15min to pick up the food and decided to eat see if we could do dine instead because our daughter literally have a reaction to something and had red rashes around her faces. But when we asked the old lady, she said there are no table available where clearly there were over 5 tables open. I asked to used the restroom to change her diaper. While doing that I went back and said there are multiple table available and why she could not take a table. Her answer was “ will be busy soon (at 9:30pm) since you said pick up first you can sit down”. I have worked in restaurants services for over 10year and that’s not how you treat people. I don’t leave review but this is just disrespectful. It could be because I have a little one who will make a mess or could me because we had already ordered the food. Either way this was a bad experience. Their food was ok but service is bad.
