Read moreNot bad for a hotel lounge. Not great either. Expensive and the food was nothing special. They try too hard instead of concentrating on the basics. Service was good at least. The chicken sandwich I had was loaded with all sorts of junk that didn’t belong but the fries were very good. What’s wrong with a chicken burger with lettuce and tomato? Why do you have to try and fancy something so basic up? It just ruins it. Wife had some chicken appy that was pretty good and she had the seafood chowder. She said it was terrible. It had more chunks of tomato than seafood. She said she found 1 piece of clam in there… should be called tomato with seafood soup. Not seafood chowder. Oh yea… want a cocktail? $16. No thanks. Had a $7.25 bottle of Kokanee beer LOL. if you are staying here and don’t want to travel anywhere then go for it. Not great but judging by our other restaurant experiences in this town… may as well...
Read moreOur dinner here was incredibly disappointing. My husband got the burger and asked for no tomato (a very simple request) which they didn’t listen to. I got the fish and chips and it was almost inedible. By deep frying standards, it was burnt. The fish inside was so disgustingly dry. I couldn’t cut thru the crust with a knife without the whole thing exploding in shards of fish and crust. I’ll attach my photo as it doesn’t look like the other photos of fish and chips. The coleslaw wasn’t great. Super watery and not like any fish and chips coleslaw I’ve ever had. Our server also wasn’t great. It seemed like we were bothering her any time she spoke with us. She wasn’t friendly at all and it made the whole experience really awkward. She only had a few tables and we ended up waiting 10-15 mins just for her to bring the machine. There are SO many other restaurants in town that are much better than here. Highly...
