Excellent selection of good quality knives.
Friendly, gracious, and very intelligent staff who were patient with my kids and my very weak French language skills (I tried my best - they were nice.) One of the two men working that day spoke remarkable English, thankfully.
Also, they provided accurate, intelligent warnings regarding bringing the knives back into the UK via train.
Note for those interested: At this time, July, 2017, the laws regarding bringing cutlery into the UK from France via train demand that you wrap up your knives in a box or bag, wrap with a lot of tape, and pack the package deep in your luggage.    Read moreI was here last Summer with My Wife and Daughter. I bought a couple of openiels and a laguiole. The owner was very warm to welcome. He looked for my son but i only had a daughter. He told us Stories on how french knives came to be, and since i didnt have a son he told my Daughter that Someday my pocket knife would be hers which made her blush a little.. If you love collecting knives this is the place to be. 101%. Thank you for the great memory, someday...
