I had an issue with one of my Golden Goose (mold, shocking I know!) after leaving it in my place while I’m away for 3 weeks only. The type of mold and how it got infected is so weird, like never I’ve seen before nor have affected my other shoes including the other Golden Goose. I went to Galeries Lafeyette branch earlier to ask them to fix it and they have directed me to this branch. I spoke with the team regarding the shoes and as one of the employees mentioned it’s a catastrophe. The catastrophe wasn’t only how the shoes got mold on it but rather the response of the équipe! Non of the them responded in a helpful way or even wanted to take the responsibility and fix it. Though repairing costs 50 euros and it was not for free. When I asked to speak with another team member, the other guy showed up and asked to talk to Harvey Nicolas the place I brought it in Dublin and to fix it there. He directly stated that we will not give you a new shoes when I went there to fix it (repairing). I did mention that I was away for only 3 weeks and this was shocking to see especially that only this shows was affected since it’s a leather one. The same person mentioned that they have never seen such a case. I did mention that I found some videos on YouTube and I was willing to show it to him to proof that Golden Goose do get mold and even the seller in the other brand the day before have mentioned to me that this usually happens but very very rarely. The team didn’t accept to take the shoes, clean and fix it and have asked me to talk to Harvey Nicolas Dublin branch. I called them on the spot and they asked to share the images to be shared by the brand team (therefore going in circles). Frankly if I can go with zero stars as a rating I would. Bur unfortunately I have to give them this undeserved one star. I’m not buying wear and tear, it’s Golden Goose and if a brand cannot handle such deformities or concerns in their quality, or even a proper after service then this is disappointing to say the least. Definitely not performing according to its reputation and indeed I’m not going to be recommending or buying again...

They were all greeting us at arrival in the store. The champagne came out faster than the sneakers. Lila was my shopping assistant and co creator experience. She was patient, kind, listening and took her time for me me to get sneakers that weren’t on display. She told me her honest opinion. Her co-creation art and design skills are absolutely worth every euro. I did leave the store with more then one pair 🤩 As for the other sales agents, nothing but a warm heart for you all.
