A Wonderful Experience at the Hotel Bar: Thanks to Arik and Lilik!

We had such a lovely time at the hotel bar, and a big part of that was thanks to the exceptional service we received from Arik and Lilik. From the moment we arrived, they greeted us with warm smiles and genuine kindness that instantly made us feel welcome.

Arik is an outstanding bartender, attentive, professional, and always ready with a great recommendation or a perfectly crafted cocktail. His positive energy and attention to detail really made a difference in our experience.

Lilik was equally wonderful, always ensuring everything was just right with such grace and thoughtfulness. She made us feel truly cared for, and her friendly presence created such a relaxed and joyful atmosphere.

Their combination of professionalism, warmth, and heartfelt hospitality turned a simple drink into a memorable moment. Thank you both for your kindness, we’ll be back...

We stopped at de Bale Lounge & Bar twice during our stay at The Laguna—once for a quick lunch before a tour, and again for a final drink before leaving (I couldn’t resist ordering the special coconut passion fruit cocktail again!). Service was phenomenal. When staff heard we were short on time before our tour, they expedited our order so we could enjoy our meal without feeling rushed. The satay was especially delicious.

A very special shout-out to Lilik, who provided us with service on our last visit. She has worked at The Laguna for 33 years and was absolutely incredible—kind, professional, and on top of every detail. She even took photos of us near the bar area, which was such a thoughtful touch. Along with the satay, the coconut passion fruit cocktail stood out as one of our favorites.

Cannot fault the team here at de Bale Lounge & Bar. We came to Bali for 1 night on a cruise ship and although we were not staying at the hotel the staff were so attentive. In the evening we listened to wonderful live music, enjoying cocktails and traditional Indonesian food & we also came back for lunch the following day. Aprin looked after us so well on both occasions, so friendly, gave us recommendations and even assisted us with using the pool for a couple of hours. We didn’t get everyone’s names but thank you to Sutika for serving us so brilliantly. Every single staff member we spoke too couldn’t do enough for us, so friendly and welcoming. Thank you for a wonderful time in Bali, we will definitely be back & for longer....
