Pura Baja — Local services in City Centre

We were on vacation with carnival cruise lines and decided to wait until we got to shore to book an excursion. As soon as we got off the boat we were bombarded with several vendors trying to sell us many excursions. At one point Victor approached us and sold us on what he was offering. He met and exceeded all of our expectations. We started out by being dropped off at a real cool beach for some shopping and fun in the sun. Victor's crew picked us up as promised an hour and a half later and took us on a 45 minute tour of the many rock formations including the Arch, Lovers Beach, and Pelican Rock. We truly had a blast. The guides were knowledgeable and answered all our questions. They even took pictures for us. When we returned we spoke to Victor about booking a fishing trip for the following day. Once again a great price for an amazing experience. Victor set us up with the perfect boat to catch fish in complete with fighting chairs. The captain and first mate did everything they could to help us catch as many fish as we wanted. We did end up catching two dolphin fish and had an amazing fight with a Marlin. Truly the best fishing trip EVER! Victor set us up with someone who could clean our fish and get us to a restaurant to have our catch cooked so we could enjoy the fruits of our labor for the day. Truly one of the most amazing experiences we have ever had as a family. If we ever return to Cabo we would definitely book any and all excursions with Victor in the future. Thank you Victor and team! We took a two-tank dive with Lorena near Pelican Rock and Lands End. I have been diving this area ever since I was first certified. It’s a great place to dive, especially with friends and family who are new to diving.

So out of 20 years of diving there, it was our dive with Pura Baja that ranks as the best. Our captain and Lorena were superb. The equipment was a perfect fit, and I finally found mask that never fogs-up! I’m glad they have good equipment because it is such a nuisance carting my own gear around the world.👍

We dove about a week after Hurricane Norma. The underwater ‘seascape’ had changed significantly. The sandy bottom was changed and the sand falls were fully activated. The wreck at Lands End was in full view as the storm had uncovered parts I had never seen before.

Lorena was skilled, and we knew we were in excellent hands. She is also extremely well informed and helped us gain new insight in the connection between this diving paradise and our climate, the impact on marine wildlife, as well as other forces that are always in play underwater. Lorena has vast experience diving here and she fascinated us with stories about encounters she’s had in the area.

Hello Victor/Lorena

I wanted to reach out to you and 'Thank You' for such a great experience we had recently in Cabo San Lucas. On October 11th, we went scuba diving with your team near the famous El Arco of Cabo (Land's End). It was my wife, Angie, and I first time. My Brother-In-Law, Brooks and his awesome girlfriend Tanya, who are experienced divers were with us as well. I was hesitant to go because I wasn't experienced but wanted to go and enjoy the adventure.

Your team - Lorena, Edgar, and Pablo were fantastic. I am sure you hear this a lot, but Lorena and Edgar were perfect for us and really made the whole experience great!! Lorena explained everything beforehand to us and gave us our instructions before going out on the boat with Pablo. While we were in the water, both Lorena and Edgar were very attentive and made sure if one of us was having any issues, they immediately took care of us. They were constantly keeping their eyes on us and made all of us very relaxed on our dive.

Our group had a great time and really enjoyed every minute of the tour. It was a typical beautiful day in Cabo and your team will make us come back again!! Great experience!!
