A new pair of jeans and an astma attack... This weekend I went into Stradivarius in search of a new pair of jeans. I got my last pair there and they were great and cheap too. However as I walked into the store, I almost hit the floor in Mr. Bean fashion as the stench of cheap perfume plagued the airways. It was thick, and stung my eyes like mustard gas. I felt my lungs tighten, my throat tickle and my body started to choke and shut down. It was immediately clear that time was of the essence if I were to make it out alive, for I NEEDED a new pair of jeans! With my shirt over my mouth I dragged myself to the escalator up to the top floor where fortunately I immediately located a new pair of blues and crawled to the counter to pay. At this point the lack of oxygen was getting to my head and the world started turning and going dark. Thank god for the nfc chip in my card, I slapped the machine with my plastic and with all my might I dragged myself to the escalator and rolled down to the ground floor and out of the exit. Outside of the shop I led, for a good hour while my lungs reinflated themselves. Passers-by thinking I was homeless, pitifully threw their pennies at me. I almost lost my life and my dignity but, got a sweet new pair of jeans for an (almost) killer...
Read moreI was so happy to get not one but several trousers (3 pairs for about 130 euros) before the incident with the security man which he handled so badly and completely pissed me off, ruining the whole experience. On my way out with purchases the alarm worked, I came back immediately so the security man could make sure all was in order, perhaps a security tags was still remaining or anything. Turned out that I completely forgot to pay for the earrings which I put in my trench coat pocket while handling piles of trousers to try on. (Where else, right?) Once I realised that I went to the self checkout to pay and he insisted to walk me there like I am an insidious thief! Okay, I payed for the earrings 12 euros, and he took my receipt. When I said it belonged to me, it’s my purchase, my receipt, he started to telling that it’s a theft and something about taking it to the police! - what a crime, I believe the police would only take care of cases higher than 2k. The alarm signaled about an unpaid item - great, I gladly paid, why to make a humiliating scene about it? The rest of the stuff was very nice and helpful, but this...
Read moreWhile the products are decent, the management at this store is absolutely disappointing. The store seems poorly organized, and the managers lack basic professionalism and respect. There’s an evident lack of leadership, and the toxic attitude from the management team creates a very unwelcoming environment for both customers and staff.
One manager, Blanca, stands out for all the wrong reasons. Instead of resolving issues or assisting customers, she seems more interested in asserting control and maintaining an inner-circle dynamic that feels like a clique. This unprofessional behavior creates unnecessary tension among employees and reflects badly on the brand.
I witnessed employees being spoken to rudely in front of customers, which is completely unacceptable in a professional setting. The favoritism and lack of proper communication from the management team make this store a nightmare to deal with. It’s clear that the focus here is not on customer satisfaction or efficient operations.
Until significant changes are made to the management team and their approach to leadership, I cannot...
