Booked a 4 day tour, only got half of what we payed for. The guide didn't tell us anything and we had to pay the entrance to the Chocoquirao site though they said it was included. When we went back to reclaim our money they told us they thought the entrance fee was only half the money so they would only give us half the amount. After arguing for a good 45 minutes I went to get a police officer. Sadly the officer he couldn't force the agency, the only other way was to proceed, what would take weeks. We loved our hike to Humantay Lake with Christian in October 2024! We were hiking within 8 hours of landing in the high altitude above Cusco from the sea level of Lima so we were not keeping pace with the rest of our group and were lagging behind significantly. Chris was patient and understanding, and offered loads of encouragement and some tough love even to get us to the top somehow.
