My wife and our 11 year old have been living in Urubamba for the last few months. Our older sons were flying in to Cusco and we decided to rent a room so they could adjust the altitude. We had looked at Andean Wings which we had toured earlier but they couldn't get us in. We chose the Inca Wasi because it had room for 5 in one room. There was a picture of a loft with 3 beds and a lower level with a double and seating area (this room doesn't exist). The room was tiny. The paint was peeling off the walls. Breakfast was hit and miss, one day you would get a selection of bread, juice, fresh fruit, eggs, ham and cheese and other days you would get just bread, jam and coffee on offer. They stored our bags while we went to Machu Picchu and the staff were very pleasant. One down side is the noise of other guest early in the morning, although it's not exactly the hotels fault for other people's rudeness maybe some signs to say keep quiet before 7am would be appropriate. The hallway around the rooms echoed...
