If you are about to book the Classic Triple Room for your family based on the descriptions and room sizes mentioned on Expedia and Booking.com, I can only say DON'T! ||The room sizes mentioned in both listings are false. The photos of the rooms that you see on their own website are wrong way around. The staff is rude and unaccomodating. When we went to talk to them, we were dismissed and told that it was what it was. No customer service or even an apology, which was very disappointing. The manager, Alejandro was MIA and refused to speak to us on the phone. The duty manager during the day was just rude and very unhelpful. ||The Family room is tiny and is majorly dominated by the beds. As a family of 3, we had the small double and a single. There was no space to keep suitcases so we put them in the cupboard. That didn't quite work as the cupboard was narrow, so it meant that the door was open. So, there is even less space to move around the room. ||The listing mentioned soundproofed rooms - again, False. Every morning, we were woken up by people leaving at 3.30-4 am for their tours. In fact, I had to go and knock on the door facing us and ask the guys in there to lower their voices as it was too loud. ||The listings mention blackout blinds... There were none. It wouldn't be a big thing normally, but with everything else going on, each missing amenity created more frustration for us. |The safe was broken, but the receptionist did not acknowledge this. The smell in the room meant we had to keep windows open during the day and spray perfume before we left in the morning. ||We stayed here for 3 nights and it was the most expensive place we stayed. Read moreThis boutique hotel is beautiful, and the view from the balcony to the square is breathtaking if you do reserve that room. The room is huge and comfortable. Here are the bad. It is LOUD until like 3 a.m., and then it starts again at 5 am. People talk loudly, scream, and cars honking nonstop. There is no elevator or ac/heater as it's an older hotel, but they do have a unit you can plug in. The bed is comfortable, but it is a boucy spring bed, and anytime you move, the whole bed moves, including your partner. Our wood floor was so clean and polished that we slipped multiple times with socks on and / or barefooted, so walk carefully. I will say the attention of the staff was great and Zoila i believe is her name went out of her way to help with our luggage and even give us coca tea because she knew we were new to Cusco and adapting is hard. We loved this beautiful boutique hotel all in all.
