Pleasant staff members, lovely range of jewellery & perfumes and above all – the Master Perfumer John Stephen with his amazing knowledge, great sense of humour & his superb courses. B) Cotswold Perfumery Courses: The courses are delivered by the Master Perfumer John Stephen and Lab Days are supervised by him. As a healthcare professional (doctor) myself, I would only rely on authentic resources and hence, would strongly recommend John’s courses for anyone who is interested in learning anything related to the magnificent art of perfumery! The reason I state above is based on multiple strong evidences & in the form of an impact it has had, not only on my personal learning but also on my business. There is a lot of misleading information available about perfumery which I had been following – only realised after completed his courses! Wish had done his courses earlier to avoid a lot of hassle. Almost every SINGLE contact with John and his honest guidance has helped me learn something new and correct my direction! Regarding his knowledge, it’s not possible to sit with John and not learn anything new! Therefore, I have decided to buy products only from Cotswold Perfumery and to follow John for anything related to perfumery. Will only buy from elsewhere if recommended by Cotswold Perfumery. I’ve stayed in the exceptional apartments at Cotswold Perfumery four times now so you will get the gist that I’m very impressed with them. Being warmly greeted by the friendly and helpful staff at the perfumery is a perfect start to a break in the pretty village of Bourton-on-the-Water and then once comfortably ensconced in your superbly appointed apartment, you remember why this is without doubt the very best place to stay. ||||As you will see from the other reviews, a delicious cream tea awaits you, perfectly set-out on your dining table where you can take in the view of the twinkling river Windrush. ||||The spotless kitchen incorporates everything you could possibly need including top quality appliances and all the cooking and cutlery items you can think of. From fine cut glassware to a state of the art kettle, toaster and a coffee machine - of course - with a generous selection of coffee pods.||||The lounge is super-comfortable with reclining seats on the sofa, a large flat-screen TV with Sky, and remote controlled lighting.||||The bedroom and bathroom are similarly delightful. It’s all the extra touches such as luxurious bed linen, top quality white towels, bathrobes, a Dyson hair-dryer, you name it, it’s been thought of and provided.||||I didn’t stay long enough to need to make use of the washing machine or tumbler dryer neatly tucked away in a small room but maybe next time?||||If you’re looking for somewhere super to stay for a Covid-19 stay-cation or anytime, you’ll be so glad you chose one of the immaculately clean, ab-fab apartments at...

We have just had 3 nights in fabulous apartment 1 & it’s not enough! We would highly recommend the apartment as an alternative to an hotel as there are plenty of places in the village & surrounding area to eat out. It’s perfectly situated to enjoy a bit of people watching whilst enjoying the cream tea that is provided for your arrival. Everything has been thought of...a sound system that has speakers in the bathroom, dimmable lighting.... not forgetting the Klimt picture in the bedroom which hides the air con! A beautiful bathroom with a walk in shower & a bath....lovely big fluffy towels heated on the towel rail. You really feel cosseted in this apartment as it’s very warm & comfortable....it’s difficult to drag yourself out to sightsee!! The bed is comfortable although the pillows are extremely soft so if you prefer a firm pillow it may be worth bringing your own.
