The Lodestone — Local services in Cotswold District

I've had really great time in the shop. The collection was amazing, as much as I was able to see the stones are real deal. They offer a variety, from few pounds specimens up to hundreds of pounds price range. Funny fact was I came in just to browse a bit and few crystals including very rare moldavite caught my eyes. But was determined not to buy and went away without buying anything but lady was really friendly and helpful anyway although I wasted her time measuring moldovite etc.. Anyways, went for a walk around the town and those 3 crystals were popping out in my head and after few hours I just went back and bought them. They helped me with writing down the names of stones on the bags as apart from moldovite I wasn't familiar with other 2 and really offered great deal of informations about them. I have been here twice now once in the spring time and once now although its a very lovely shop and has brilliant pieces to offer, the staffs behaviour both times is certainly poor , first time i went there was 2 ladys , didnt really want to explain meanings or what they do regarding crystals no communication when browsing etc , i have spent a decent amount of money both times i have been , this time around there were 3 staff members , the man today was polite only when spoken to , but no one really wanted to chat or make me feel spiritual or comfortable at that matter , when you go to beautiful destinations with beautiful shops , you would expect a higher standard when visiting especially as it is touristy , the staff really let this place down wont be revisting...

Visited twice this week. Once on the Monday and the man serving in the shop was very friendly. Sadly the next day when we visited we had dreadful customer service from a very grumpy and unapproachable women in the shop. My 16 year old daughter is autistic and I'm encouraging her to be independent with her money. The women was so rude shouting out the total several times to hurry my daughter up. She didn't wrap the delicate items either just shoved them in a bag. My daughter said have a lovely day as she has been brought up to be respectful and friendly(unlike this woman)who gave  no please or thank you and seemed more interested in her mobile phone on the counter.Terrible experience for my daughter which caused alot of anxiety afterwards.
