Wow! What an amazing home Puffitts Cottage is. So clean and bright and has everything you need to make your stay stress free. The welcome pack left by Nicky was so lovely, welcoming and very generous; Maisie and Rupert even got their own little packs from Lulu! đ©· Couldnât wait to get unpacked and kick off my shoes and get in the amazing bath with my book and a good glass of wine! The gardens, both front and back are delightful and completely dog safe. We did sit out and catch the last of the sunshine with a nice cup of tea on several occasions. Beautiful easy stroll into the village itself both from the front door and also from the back gate which avoided the traffic and road. Plenty to see and do in Bourton on the Water and some absolutely amazing walks. We used an App called Komoot which had some fantastic routes and we didnât get lost once! We used several of the eateries in the village and werenât disappointed! The Mousetrap Inn just a few doors down was very friendly and even though we didnât have food there, it seemed very popular. The beer selection was good and very welcome after a long walk with our two dogs! Everywhere is dog friendly, we even visited the wildlife park a short drive away and our dogs loved it, seeing lions for the very first time! We cannot recommend Puffitts cottage enough and Nicky is the perfect hostess and goes over and above to make sure you are happy with everything. We cannot wait to return to beautiful Bourton-on on the Water and will definitely be booking Puffitts Cottage again! Thank you Nicky...
Read moreWe recently had the pleasure of staying in this delightful cottage. We could not have asked for more.
The cottage has been tastefully furnished and decorated and whilst having modern facilities it is all in keeping with the character of the cottage. Nicky is to be congratulated she has done a fantastic job.
It is ideally located, situated a little outside the tourist area and set back from the road, so it is quiet and restful but only a short walk into the heart of Bourton-on-the-Water. Even the pub/restaurant two minutes from the front door does not intrude on the peace and quiet.
We do not hesitate to recommend this holiday cottage; it has everything you need and if the weather is good to you then having breakfast in the peace of the back garden is the best start to the day. Being in the hear the of the Cotswolds there are plenty of villages to visit and there is also Bourton itself which has many attractions worth visiting. At the end of the day, if the weather is still fine, it is the ideal place to return to enjoy a meal and a G & T in the back garden before retiring to the oh so comfortable beds.
Will we be returning, you bet your life we will?
Thank you Nicky. ...

It is spacious clean and well looked after. Itâs decorated beautifully with lots of finishing touches. It doesnât feel like a holiday let but a loved home. The bed and pillows are comfy and the bathroom spacious with a lovely bath. Plenty of storage for clothes etc. The kitchen is large and is well equipped. The utility area and downstairs toilet also very handy. The back garden is a good size and secure for our dog. Plenty of furniture for sitting out. The front garden also now has a gate so we were able to sit out there with our dog too. Nicky, the owner obviously loves her cottage, and was very helpful giving us lots of info before we arrived and checking in with us that everything was good for us. The cottage is in a perfect location, just a 10minute walk along the river to get to Bourton which is beautiful with lots of shops and cafes. You could do some good walks from the cottage with a large field at the back for exercising dogs Also central for exploring the Cotswolds. We look forward to staying at Puffits again...
