Not long ago, they helped my nephew find the perfect engagement ring for his future bride and even though he was on a tight budget, they provided the highest level of service and found something that exceeded his expectations. They recently helped my young 14-year-old girl with a gift and treated her with kid gloves. Took my wife’s favorite bracelet that I bought her while we were dating, which she’s been wearing for last 20+ years and never takes off, in for repair with another jeweler (not Pickens). After their repair, a couple links were frozen. My wife tried to wear it anyway and it broke. When I called the first jeweler they said it was the best they could do and recommended Pickens Jewelry in Buckhead. It took me several months to bring in the bracelet because their hours are super limited but once I did, the service was great with quick turnaround (3 days) and the bracelet was repaired well with no frozen / broken / missing links. My wife is already wearing it again and claiming she’s never going to take it off, just like before.

I did look extensively in the past to see if I could buy a replacement and there’s just nothing else quite like this one so we’ll have to wait and see if it can make it another 25 years...

I had been looking for a very specific type of ring for years. I just happened to find one that was exactly what I wanted in an antique shop in New Jersey. I fell in love with the ring, but it was too big for any of my fingers. The first thing I did when I got home was look for a place to get it resized. I was worried after I realized that some shops will only resize rings from their own collection, others will only size a ring down 2 sizes. They were happy to resize my ring, and said it wasn't a problem to bring it down 3 sizes.

I got it back today, and I'm so happy to finally be able to wear it. They did a beautiful job with it, and it fits perfectly now. The staff are very friendly and professional, and they have a very beautiful and unique collection of jewelry in their store. I'd recommend this store to anyone.
